  1. Doesn't Andy Meredith do them both? It's a shame he's not employed by the BSPL to visit all tracks during a season to instruct on how to carry out track prep, instead it's limited to some diagrams in the SCB Regs.
  2. Giving free tickets to a canny Scotsman and not expecting them to use it themselves is a huge risk 😂😂
  3. Is that why they keep veering off upwards when they keep getting too close? Could have done with the "bypass" option at Riga at least the drone could have done some passing!
  4. They are actually "piloted" by a guy and his assistant from the infield 🤦‍♂️. Clueless
  5. I think traditionally Speedway has been more successful in towns rather than cities probably due to less things to do in towns
  6. Tbf, I think Knudsen has actually been riding on the night of the fixture that has been missed not sat with his trotters up in a hotel room. The rule is there 10.5 p) the SCB are just choosing not to enforce it, the way they throw suspensions around these days they've obviously been nobbled by somebody.
  7. Great comeback from the Tigers, I thought they were dead and buried after heat 10 😂
  8. I've seen a few riders lay it down when behind Kildemand when it's looked like he was coming off (which is most of the time 😂), now he gets a taste is his own medicine 😂
  9. Great comeback from the Spires, I thought they were dead and buried after heat 1.
  10. Why did the ref leave it to B4 of L1 before putting the reds on only to call all 4 back? Why not B2?
  11. Etheridge almost looked like he fell off by himself there, seemed to have recovered from the initial contact and then binned it by himself
  12. Because he was half asleep by the looks of it 😴
  13. Seems like Laguta was in line for a wild card for Wroclaw according to his socials but for whatever reason it fell through 🤷‍♂️
  14. Good riddance to them then 👋, if you want to run a credible sport in this country
  15. SCB STATEMENT: FRANCIS GUSTS Wednesday August 13, 2025 The Speedway Control Bureau were made aware by the Oxford Management on Monday 11th August that Francis Gusts had informed them that due to illness he would be unavailable for the Oxford fixture at Poole on Wednesday 13th August. However, on Tuesday 12th August Mr Gusts represented his Polish League Club Wroclaw in the Under 24 League being undefeated by an opponent in his 5 heats. The report from the Polish media after the Polish fixture descried Mr Gusts performance as excellent On Wednesday morning Mr Gusts was made aware that having competed in the Polish League on the 12th August, he would be expected to ride for Oxford in their fixture at Poole on the 13th. Due to Mr Gusts failure to attend the Poole v Oxford fixture on Wednesday 13th August, Mr Gusts SCB Registration will be suspended for a period of 28 days as of the 13th August. Oxford will be entitled to a facility for the same period 28 days, where after Mr Gusts will need to return.
  16. Are WBD looking to unload the SGP? Are changes in store for 2026?
  17. Bike setup does appear to be more important than riding technique these days, you could argue that bike setup is also a skill but too often it appears to be down to a rider hitting a bit of luck with the setup and then honing in on it.
  18. Or Klindt! Seems like they've given Becker an ultimatum like they did with Kurtz last season... what's with all the fluff around the statement though beats me 🤷‍♂️
  19. No I haven't... he's never there when I go to get one!
  20. SCB STATEMENT: LUKE BECKER Monday August 11, 2025 The Speedway Control Bureau are aware that Luke Becker made his comeback from a serious back injury for his Polish League Club Ostrow on Saturday 9th August scoring 9 points from 6 rides. After such a serious injury and returning to racing so soon it was no surprise that Mr Becker following his return is suffering from the effects from racing and has now been withdrawn from racing for a further 5 days. The SCB have received medical documentation. Leicester have been granted a facility for their fixture versus Oxford on Monday 11th August, however if Mr Becker competes again prior to the next Leicester fixture he would be expected to return to the Leicester Team
  21. I'm sure he'll be fit enough to miss Plymouth's next home fixture...
  22. I was getting weather warnings about thunderstorms just before I left home so I was keeping an eye on the radar all night and the rain that was heading up north was just about running out of steam as it got to Leicester. The dirt did get wide and Magic was pulling some massive lines especially around turns 1 & 2 out of the gate, thought he was quite impressive last night... compared to his last visit to BP.
