  1. Oh dear lord Handbags quite possibly on Sunday then?! Cant argue there. I said that before he got injured Don't forget...he's a Lynn asset
  2. Bit of a delayed post this but I was at Rye House on Monday. First time back there in five long years (since Lynn were last in the PL!) and I have to say I've kinda missed the place (never thought I'd say that ) I swore never to return but changed my mind this summer. Set off in June for the original staging when it was called off due to the rain and thought, to hell with it I might as well go back again and I'm happy I did A decent team performance by the Panthers and I hope it now continues into the play offs (although Ostergaard is now out injured).
  3. I expected James Shanes to be classy Seen him a couple of times at grasstrack meetings and he's looked good then. He's exciting to watch and nice to see him interacting with the crowd on the home straight after heat 15.
  4. Not a complete surprise to see this sadly Good luck in the next chapter of your life and continue to have fun doing whatever you're doing
  5. Can't believe the bickering that still happens on this forum... Remember folks, life is too short to get into disagreements with people over a simple difference in opinion on something Bring on the fours I was going whether Panthers were in it or not and here's to seeing some great racing on Sunday afternoon!
  6. You know there's not much enthusiasm when I'm the one that starts a King's Lynn topic
  7. Yes...after I'd seen the clubs press release. That's where the line ups come from! Robert is down to ride and the Stars are at full strength as far as I'm lead to believe, but how fit Robert is in himself still needs to be seen. Stars are away at Coventry on Friday. He's been carrying this hip injury for weeks, even prior to the crash at Berwick. He hurt the hip originally at the British Semi Final I think you'll find. The big tumble at Berwick resulted in the same hip playing up and riding at Lynn last week has obviously aggravated it again. EDIT: and it seems he has to have a medical before the meeting on Wednesday to see if he is fit according to someone in my Lynn topic.
  8. Careful now! Lets not bring that topic of discussion into play in here
  9. I said this on here myself years ago when this whole saga started! Can't see much hope for Mildenhall surviving this now and the funny thing is, is that with this law change, the noise disturbance thing could affect any similar type of venue where there are residents near by who might complain about the noise. More stadiums could be at risk of closure
  10. Stars 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 2. Nicklas Porsing 3. Kenneth Bjerre 4. Robert Lambert 5. Vaclav Milik 6. Lewis Kerr 7. Ashley Morris Lions 1. Jason Doyle 2. Kevin Doolan (G) 3. Grzegorz Walasek 4. Szymon Wozniak 5. Piotr Swiderski 6. Carl Wilkinson (G) 7. Ollie Greenwood (G) Couldn't see a topic already started for this fixture, so thought I might as well start one Leicester have three guests coming in for Sam Masters, Josh Auty and Simon Lambert. Feel sorry for Leicester as, like many other teams, they've not really been too lucky with avoiding injuries this season! Stars are at full strength and Lewis Kerr makes his return from a recent back injury. Not even going to attempt to make a score prediction!
  11. Yes. Promising news. I'm not personally going to say good news yet as he's still to turn a wheel for them tonight. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.
  12. Changing the subject quickly...nice touch by Glasgow to give Michael Palm Toft a birthday cake as well!
  13. No. I wasn't there! I cancelled that idea on Thursday. No. I know they're not. I'm just rambling on with regards to the last bit. Sorry! I was there. I wasn't near the pits though... I guess he did look a little "off" or however you want to put it in his last ride.
  14. I can understand not believing half or even most of what is put out there. I get that. And that's fair comment. I'm reluctant to believe absolutely everything I'm told or read myself these days. Generally speaking, fans are told what promotions want them to hear I think. That's just the way it is. But if someone is fortunate enough to hear both sides, then it's up to the individual to come to their own conclusions as to who they believe or not.
  15. Seems like the meeting is going ahead after all! 21-21 so far so I've been told...
  16. Then how can "ordinary fans" condemn Robert Lambert without knowing both sides of the story? There's always two sides to a story after all not just one...
  17. Blimey! Well, that's optimistic for Panthers then!
  18. There are some Panthers fans that are hoping for rain Due to the fact they think we will get hammered! The bold bit sounds like same old same old sadly. The fixtures should start much earlier, either that or perhaps it's time to do away with the league cup and just have the knock out cup and league itself to fight for?
  19. Yes I know that's what a certain someone was looking for
  20. Thanks for that. That does sound kinda like the way he's been with King's Lynn. I don't doubt his efforts! His bust a gut for us several times and sadly not come away from many meetings with many points.
  21. I'm amazed Paulco! I thought the weather was supposed to be bad up there. That's what made me cancel the idea of travelling up as it's an awfully long way to go for just one meeting (Workington last night, as I really didn't think they'd get a meeting in at Glasgow today). I will make it across the border to Scotland at some point
  22. Can't see a topic created for this today so... MON THE PANTHERS I really do think that the weather could well be the winner up there today though...think it could well be wet wet wet?
  23. And like I said to you on Twitter, I could've told them that before they even asked him to guest Can't argue with that!
