  1. So, GBGP end of June, SWC in Poland two weeks later eh? In that case I feel it only fair to warn you................nah, stuff it, it'll be my little surprise!! Besides, after what's happened lately I wouldn't want property values to drop. Date doesn't clash with any other major sporting event in Oz that weekend.
  2. Where does that put the World Cup - middle of July? ?
  3. Was it that bad, cuz? In 2006 I'm sure I saw winners from every lane. (Disclaimer: I recall I might have been S***faced at the time,) (So what's new??)
  4. I should imagine Scotty Nicholls will heave a sigh of relief; after all, he's been the undeserving butt of much vitriol over the years. Why some folks deem it necessary to persistently pick on the people who really make Speedway is beyond me, but whatever floats yer boat.
  5. I'm sure he is, Schumi; as has been mentioned here before he does bring a differing viewpoint but his style of debate, his gratuitous insults and name-calling and his rampant Aussie-phobia leave something to be desired. BTW have you worked out how Criss Angel got the chicken inside the egg inside the lemon inside the orange yet? Got me stuffed!!
  6. .......doubtless a relic of that fine British Sci-fi series "Quaterwit and the Pit"! Either that or if you've been takin' spellin' lessons off SCB you really are a screm. As for the inherent racism displayed by a certain narrow-minded - one might say blinkered - poster on here; if that's your preferred level of debate may I suggest you set up your own forum? Oh, you already have?
  7. That'll do me. Can't wait to see the tape of this one. Oh, for all of you writing off Lonigo, I certainly enjoyed the 2006 GP there, sounds like the track prep. went wrong this time round.
  8. .......and that's why you'll never be a referee; you can't exclude your personal bias from your decisions. May be time to crawl back under your rock, me ol' Mongol M8!
  9. Not been around very long, macca56? I don't think Tomas Bajerski would agree with you for one.
  10. Nah, get down here!! Come in November so's you can get acclimatised at Gillman, and stick around for the Long Track meeting on Australia Day - in fact you might as well get down to Oz House and get in line!!
  11. I'll be staying in a Pub in Newcastle about 15 minutes from the Showgrounds so I'll catch the Train down to Gosford & back! Dunno whether I'll overnight at Gosford yet, depends if the parlour up the road is doing "Two for the price of One" specials or not!!
  12. Dunno about Jason or Leigh; these old fellers may need the time off! Certainly Crumpy, while acknowledging that he had a duty to his Ozfans conceded that doing 2007 had a detrimental effect on his racing last year, while the Man from Mildura has done more than enough for Australian Speedway over the years. (Did someone say decades?) As for doing all the rounds - will we be seeing you in the Air-conditioned grandstand at Newcastle, you seasoned World Traveller, you? The BIG question is - will there be a BAR at Gosford for the Qualifier? Otherwise its Hipflask City in God's waiting-room.
  13. Thanks for all the photos you mob; so "Roosters" is like "Hooters"?
  14. May have been a financial bath for the Promoter but that could have been due to the Junketeering of European FIM officials perhaps? Certainly when I saw it (eventually, having been busy saving East Timor at the time) the racing looked pretty good and Scotty nearly stole it!
  15. If its in Melbourne in November they'd hafta use the Dome.. Very nice stadium, very central, won't be cheap!!
  16. It'll probably take 'em that long to get out here anyhow!! Seriously, any info on where this Press Release comes from?
  17. Couldn't you just burrow under the fence? (You Wascally Wabbit!!) Come on AUSSIE!!
  18. Cam must have had an off night then, T.N.T., not to make it into your match summary? Great evening's entertainment by the sound of it, I'll look forward to Swindon.
  19. From some of the Photos I've seen of the Know-All Crew on tour a Park Bench does the job just as well!
  20. This is no time for introspection or self-doubt, Lunchy, pull yourself together. I put it down to all that lovely Pomgolian weather you've been wallowing in. Let's just hope spiderweb isn't infected as well! PS Well Done Crumpy!!
