  1. Im wondering who will stump up the £500 we have wasted on hotels flights and airport parking after we were told our rider had too be back
  2. In fairness Luke was pretty dross last night . We made a bad decision on set up after the rain prior to the meeting and from then on it was a chore all night. Personally I was surprised he didn't get pulled from his last ride with the meeting being close but he pulled it off, but in all honesty don't think even with that ride he did enough to warrant heat 14 .
  3. On a day of what could of been the boys are rightly proud of there performance. The general thoughts were the d4aw did for us getting gates 2 and 4 on four occasions when 4 was a grave yard. A point here or there could of tipped the balance but most teams could say that. On to the next one with more experience gained
  4. hi guys could we leave this alone my son took quite a knock in this incident . he and cooper who are good mates have discussed it and are ok with it. its racing it happens lets move on.
  5. In response to the above regarding Luke he's back when I think he's fit
  6. Is that Diane Abbots calculator your using
  7. We received an email regarding an uplift in the cost of our licence which we queried and were told it was as the emailed stated for insurance purposes the uplift was duly paid. previously he had ridden on a pounds for points contract which included insurance no visible deductions were made from his wage the personal cover was assumed to be in the contract but we felt this had been transferred to the ACU with the uplift on the cost of licence dont know about previous coverage as we never claimed and the coverage taken covers his losses as a scaffolder not as a speedway rider as scaffolding is his primary source of income . Speedway is a paid hobby at his level covering its cost with the aid of our wonderful sponsors. i don't mind telling people what I know from our point of view but everyone has different circumstances and our experience could be a different one too others
  8. We informed the insurance company that Luke races a speedway bike . The insurance we have covers his loss of earnings from his actual job as a scaffolder which he does everyday except for the day he is racing or if he has a busy schedule when bikes need to be prepped. Not sure if the cover would be the same if speedway was the only source of income
  9. Maybe they are keeping it quiet because they don't want prospective patrons to type speedway into google and end up here reading all the negativity. Good things come to those that wait
  10. I know but that's not what Daniel said 🤣
  11. Sadly just had to put the latest person on ignore . I don't know or care if it was the same person but it was similar drivel as the other person please don't quote his posts as it means I can still read his
  12. I put the first idiot on block as it was tedious and is good since people stopped quoting him. Haven't got any issues at moment with other but if I do they will go on block
  13. Strange how all but vinnie have lower averages in the Ndt than Ndl I know why Luke's is but does seem odd
  14. Speedway riders are mercenaries it's all about what they earn . Winning is nice but getting paid is better . In a sport we're winning a title means nothing and there no financial reward you get the best deal you can
  15. Wondering why there no enthusiasm to build a purpose built track for cars and bikes at Bradford. Always seems to be no objection to the noise and would get away from the bulls who's recent financial history is poor they are in and out of odsal more than a guest at a speedway meeting
  16. Is the anomaly due to not competing in enough meetings for average to take effect.
