  1. The question was asked but sadly he can't be fitted in to the team so has no national league place in 2025
  2. Wouldn't know if been made public but been told he's eligible
  3. Luke Harrison is eligible for ndl but currently has no spot
  4. Travel and riding for peanuts is part of it mate . As you know we ride at championship level and money ain't great and have got clubs offering places at the agreed rates for national league which is worse it's not full time for us as it don't pay the lad gets up and goes scaffolding everyday to earn enough to invest in machinery whether that's engines exhaust or limiters. At no point at this stage do we expect to earn enough through racing to cover its cost
  5. So your forward planning give yourself a pat on the back and a cold beer mate 🤣
  6. Agree it's difficult after youth series but then it's real and riders regardless of who they are have to follow the rules. As a sport it can't keep running to the lowest common denominator as that's not how things work . Progress doesn't stop that's why the sport went from two valve to four then laydowns it's all about the edge you can gain
  7. Would say a large percentage of the lads have it on the limit at the start and it's a god thing they are limited those who don't should aspire to as it's part of progression. Riders not wanting to progress is their issue but still need to follow the technical specifications.
  8. Don't get the debate about limiters and silencers it was put out in July this year and won't be needed till April next year surely any rider wanting to progress will of started to get the funds together already for this. And in reality lots of riders may not need exhaust as long as they are no older than 2022 on the point of limiters this has been on the back burner for years so isn't totally unexpected. rules are rules no point whining about it let's just go with it
  9. Which notable names are leaving I'm intrigued to know
  10. Can't see anything in the post where Mr Godfrey says anything that could make anybody think that.
  11. no thanks mate I am already bitter and twisted without adding that to it
  12. My take on this would be that Luke would have still progressed to the level he has taking 5 rides if teams were six man as he had the abilities. Jacob could well of progressed to a decent standard national league reserve given the chance to take his rides its all subjective though as its opinion based
  13. It's a good idea let's hope that if they run 6 man teams they give all riders 5 rides , no using one reserve 7 times and others only getting 3 rides. It's a development league and you don't develop being pulled out of your heats. there will be doom and gloom posters who think it's rubbish but with a lack of competitive riders at that level 10 plus teams can't run without separating the league. also can't wait for the it should be an upright league brigade to chip in.
  14. We know Luke won't increase his average if he rides at 2 which is not a problem .
  15. With yesterday's announcement regarding more teams looking to join the national league it will be interesting to see what the points limit will be . Also will the upper level championship average be raised as currently will block several riders from competing. Will they stop riders doing all three leagues personally think anyone riding premier league shouldn't be in national league.
  16. No breaks no fear a good listen bit on scunny from about 50 mins
  17. Has to be base on available riders who are willing to travel which seems to be some of the issue in recent years.
  18. Personally think the 125 or 250 classes should be in along with the two 500 riders . It has been done before when there wasn't sufficient riders to fill a category at a meeting .
  19. So if three more teams do come in where are the riders of sufficent level coming from . Will they go with 6 man teams as this would free up 6 riders from this years teams. Will they up the average limit for championship riders allowing them to stay to aid development. Its going to be intresting to see.
  20. Cant see that been carried on next year . Even though my rider has acheived the average he still needs the national league to continue his development. 7 heat leaders gone from 6 teams who will replace them
