  1. Wont really matter the number after heat 2 as the team manager will do reserve switches based on what he sees happen in that heat
  2. Where has this been said officially please
  3. Dayle wood is not anywhere near the level of Celina she will do well . even though I don't feel she will achieve 4 in the first year her average will be considerably more than what Dayle achieved
  4. I haven't seen that posted officially but some keep posting that is the way it will be
  5. Good signing and if at reserve will make a potent pairing with Sam
  6. Shouldn't be anything other than focusing on development especially this year when there are no stand alone clubs . For me this has been some of the problem where winning the development league has become an aspiration for clubs rather than it's sole purpose of developing riders who progress into the professional leagues
  7. thats a debatable point as it could be argued that both are still developing. Leicester could have still used the dropped 16 year old if they wanted to and built their team differently, they chose not to and that's their prerogative. My comment was more aimed at another poster who said it was an uninspiring team . My point of view is if riders develop in the league who cares who wins it I certainly don't
  8. Can't disagree with that it's all about bike time
  9. The voice of never ending experience shame that some don't get it
  10. Max is a very good rider who won't give up well backed with good machinery. Hopefully his injury won't set him back but with plenty of recovery time I'm sure he will be fine as he is a determined lad
  11. I thought max was already a Leicester asset. Wasn't there a piece in the star about it earlier in the season.
  12. It's a development league strength of teams should not matter if riders gain experience and progress the result should not matter
  13. Max will be OK racing against his peer group. The lowering of the averages has allowed them all in at same time.it will be interesting to see how they all fair against each other
  14. His average is OK on paper when looked at it at the end of the year we were quite happy as we broke it down into the basics. First 6 meetings he rode was still suffering massively with the injury which restricted his movement on the bike. Then he moved into the main body of the team at 3 which whilst getting back to fitness was hard work for him onto of numerous heat 15s against big hitting riders. We set a target of 7.5 at the start of the season before the crash and to end up on 6.86 we felt was a good effort. If he had refused the additional heat would of been almost on target
  15. Yep 2 broken vertebrae fracture shoulder bruised lung .
  16. in fairness i have not posted any red herrings since he agreed to come to Scunthorpe . all were statements of fact at the time of posting was a hard decision for the lad when the hardest thing hes had to choose before is red sauce or brown on his bacon
  17. Kent run loads of practice sessions so works well for them what they couldn't do was run another speedway meeting were payment was being made to riders. Different discussion altogether do feel it was wrong to prevent it though
  18. Leicester run practices which I'm sure will increase under new owners oxford run 3 teams so no lack of availability redcar run amateurs and practice and private hire bellevue run a practice scunthorpe run amateurs and practice and private hire edinburgh run there acadamey don't see much lack of availability
  19. Don't agree the teams running NDL all have the opportunity to run practices and or amateur meetings to cover costs
