  1. Methinks neither is Chris Harris! Although, eternal thanks for one of the greatest British sporting moments ever with his Cardiff win, thank you. What an eternal shame that the BBC on their Sportsman (or is is persons now?) Of The Year Award could not spare just over 60 seconds of footage that would have sent chills down the spine of any sports competitor in the audience and viewers at home. I still watch that race and think he won't win, total goosepimple stuff.
  2. Hmmm! is that your defiant stance at having to wear an ankle tag due to a Caroline Wozniacki restraining order lol lol. We got Hellfire and Damnation biblical weather here in Manchester 'for a change' (don't believe the Myths). But further afield much worse is going on so all cool. As an Aces fan i hope Charlie doesn't live right proper up to his christian name and performs well. Be back in 20 mins too.
  3. Looks like the concensus is Sunthorpe website and BSPA site in two places is wrong. UPDATE Contacted the BSPA website and they have now amended the result to 56-35 that will do me.
  4. Can anyone confirm the result of this match? Speedway Star says Mildenhall won 56-35 Mildenhall website says Mildenhall won 56-35 Scunthorpe website says Mildenhall won 56-33 BSPA recent results says Mildenhall won 56-33 BSPA monthly results section says Mildenhall won 56-33
  5. All are welcome no biggie. Well until wholesale changes need to be done as riders approach the tapes lol lol.
  6. Wow thanks for that clip very impressive the riding and the improvement in the quality of You Tube over just a few years. Only thing missing from the clip was a fitting soundtrack of Tom Petty's 'I Won't Back Down'.
  7. Only two days to go so making AVAILABLE AS OF NOW.... PROVISIONAL MiniMax Racecard 2012 World Cup EVENT ONE, Bydgoszcz, Poland. (Saturday, 7th, July, 2012) You can directly download from the following page. http://speedway.manc.../racecards.html Official PROVISIONAL line-up racecards. The World Cup teams although announced well in advance of usual meetings can be subject to very late changes indeed. For those who are curious to see the race match-ups or need to print out the cards outside of their home for example at work, internet cafe, library or educational establishment, i am making them available a day or so before the meeting. Please note it clearly will be best to leave it until as late as possible when the teams are finally confirmed. As in previous years i will of course make amendments if and when late or very late changes are made public, including right up to the meeting starting. By popular demand i've reintroduced the colour coded gate draw format. No messing about trying to see small characters and remembering them. Just an instant glance at the card matches up with how you see them line-up on the TV screen and graphics or if a spectator at the track from behind the fence. They match what is visually before you left to right, outside to in, Gate 4, Gate3, Gate2, Gate 1. The racecard can obviously be printed on both sides of a single sheet or as a match programme style over two sheets.
  8. Agree with your agreement of JJR's list with the swapping of Lindgren for Janowski - a massive no-brainer. I would also add the amendment that every round of the series is staged in the UK so that we have a British rider taking part in every round courtesy of the Wild Card nomination lol. Possibly have Tai Woffinden as the Wild Card in every round too.
  9. Well i'm shocked at the sheer inhumanity of the man called Rising! You made no attempt whatsoever at breaking it gently to Alan. Philip we all knew about her twins but we never let him know. Ignorance was bliss for him. Once again great entertainment subscription worth every penny. Unlike Hasse i not getting off out to the pub tonight but will also wish you all Good Evening, Afternoon or Morning been fun as usual.
  10. Coming to the conclusion that more times than not, and definitely more times than the UK Elite League, that Swedish Speedway is bloody brilliant to watch. Pure box office. Hope i had permission to paraphrase you there lol.
  11. Ya Rebel ya lol. Are the heatwaves and storms out of the way over there yet for tomorrow? Great to have another close match once more this week. Heat 12 proving another good 'un.
  12. Lol Lol OMG wayyyyy out of order hee hee. Vetlanda hoping Ruud doesn't do an Iversen in the next race. UPDATE (all be it delayed live pause one, i'll catch up at the interval) He did, he did, he did an Iversen!
  13. I do love the way Premier Sports keep us so up-to-date with the scores of the other matches taking place and when pertinent often news from them. Also the racing from previous meetings during tractor breaks is great.
  14. OK never ridden a speedway bike and i see that there has been overtaking so it's not a case of 1234 out of gate finish in the same order sooooo...someone more knowlegeable than me tell me how does the unbeaten Iversen finish last, admittedly he got jostled pushed out a little? but why couldn't he catch third place? EDIT...i doing ten things at once here and of course the rider in third was his team mate. But above still stands to a degree as to why he was so far behind at the end?
  15. But surely there are equally skillful players still in the tournament or am i missing a point lol. Possibly, as wasn't so much a case of breaking the tapes as taking vengeance on them for slaughtering his family in a home invasion! Maybe he got stung on hs hand causing a reflex movement.
  16. Does the Tennis have the stunning vista shown inbetween races of the fluffy white crowds getting ever larger, blue sky and lots of pine trees all surounding a pretty much full Speedway stadium? Or is the Tennis more picturesque in another eye-pleasing way
  17. Tasty race in heat 7. Yeah, i only just catching up i put the meeting on 'live pause' had to pop outside for a few mins..
  18. In which case i'm even more impressed at the size of the crowd.
  19. Wow really. Ouch. I've only just got home a little while ago and will have to read up on this story. Fines might sound severe but then again if if should be a case of fans started to travel out to the meeting and the expenses incurred well maybe fines are just. Forgive my ignorance of what has happened i'll check it out next grading break.
  20. Lol lol hey you know it makes sense or otherwise i'd be duplicating my posts into the other one hee. I see Ruud in Rude Boy form tonight.
  21. He's an excelent commentator with tons of 'current' facts and snippets. Also handles the invariable live glitches commendably too. Anyone else coming over to the Week 9 thread
  22. Thanks for opening the thread, you know our motley crew of reprobates and neer-do-wells need somewhere to congregate on a Tuesday lol. Truly great to see yet another large crowd despite it being televised. Oh yeah As ever available (since last night too).... TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Indianerna Vs. Elit Vetlanda I wonder if you'll be able to repeat that thought in say five years time ahead of a SGP meeting!!!
  23. Thank you. I usually keep on top of info like but not this time, have been busy lol. Yeahhhh weekly Swedish League thread NOW OPEN i see.
  24. Either i've got something wierd going on with my Sky Box or missed anouncements but if not.....Uh Oh could be trouble brewing for UK TV viewers who record the meeting as in have PREMIER TV changed their channel number without notifying subscribers (or just me lol lol) or even changing their website. I've gone all over the website etc and it still refers to being on Sky Channel 433, even the toolbar headers etc say 433. However, it's on Channel 428. W'appened and When lol. UPDATE Not for the first time i've been led to doubt my sanity, however, i've just checked again and the website does refer to CH 433. Okkkkk let's hope we got a good match ahead.
