Have the UK promoters ever considered approaching their Polish counterparts to ask them how they turned the sport into such a popular spectacle and crowd with lots of young people in them? I'd prefer to PAY the Polish promoters as a work group instead of these high-charging marketing companies over here.

Was going to suggest pre-race that Zmarzlik would break the sequence of all race wins having come from gate 2, but nope he won! That's four now but Sundstrom no chance in the next heat. Take that back he wasn't in gate 2 lol.

Agreed i just love speedway. A great battle in heat two for second place. Going to have to compile a list of superlatives for the Polish season......a 'scintillating' ride by Zagar, it all very enjoyable already.

Gorzow coaching staff were edging towards having Balinski in their team instead of Michelsen but didn't want to 'risk it'. Not a great start by Michelsen but it was a hard looking heat....then again aren't most heats in Ekstraliga lol.

I haven't yet had a chance to form an allegiance to any team, maybe i will after a few weeks. Not sure of who the goodies and baddies are. Then again i tend to develop my own opinion of who is good and bad in the world lol. Ahh is see they have number 8's on standby, i must remember to look up in the rules as to when they are allowed to take a ride. CZESTOCHOWA-ZIELONA GORA on Monday Czestochowa could see up to three! changes. Raphael Szombierski (scored 13 points in the fixture last year) according to some reports is looking very likely to replace Grigory Laguta who has a leg injury, however that is contradicted by other sources who say Laguta will race! . Rune Holta is to have a test spin and Michael Jepsen Jensen's participation will be decided upon Monday. If the latter two are both unable to start Szombierski will go in place of one of them and the club will use rider replacement.

I see Vetlanda had a whopping win in the two day, eight team Vetlanda Cup. I'll hold back from posting scores in case Ghostwalker has more in depth knowledge of the 'festival of speedway'.

My club Belle Vue could have done with such emotionless 'professional' team management several times over the last decade, we hung on to too many riders when it was clear that even strapping a jet engine to their bike wouldn't have helped. Not sure if it ok to post here regarding a first division match that isn't televised but the other thread is clearly extraliga only. Just noticed that after their woeful performances in their first match for Rybnik Chris Harris and Lewis Bridger are replaced in the team list for Mondays fixture by rising Czech star Vaclav Milik and the Russian Ilja Chalov who has scored very well indeed so far this season. Milik has also had a great first two rounds in the Czech under 21 championship scoring 14 and 15.

Lol only teasing many thanks for the heads up regarding which are the tv/online fixtures and bumping it for those who might have missed it at the time as it really is surprising the number of people who won't go back the one single page to see the original post. This Polish fare is certainly not to be missed. Very pleased with the quality of the streams and long may they hold strong and continue. I've just got to get familiar as to who's the big boys and the wimps in the league, or the pre 2013/14 Manchester United's and pre 2013/14 Everton's lol. Also i haven't a clue which tracks provide good racing and which are 'from the gate' trash - surely all Polish tracks are great racing tracks!?.

What online TV guide do you use Andrew? I find the paid version of DigiGuide fairly good although if i was doing a thread like this i'd certainly back up any guide with the Sky (or your provider) EPG. The online guide is very good for spotting the multitude of Eurosport repeat showings.

I usually use .sportowefakty to check the line ups but it's been down since the first match The site itself is up but the updates stopped after heat 2. Heat 8 very good race for a while and a nice win by Holta.

Yep regards Czaja. Was presuming Walasek was a direct scheduled 'rider replacement' ride for Laguta. Nice to see Jabba ok after that fall looked a hefty one.
