  1. No sweat. Let's just hope any more changes yet to come are minimal lol.
  2. The televised match isn't exactly the dead duck it may appear as they are both fighting for the last play-off slot. Additionally, there is great disgruntlement at the absence of Grigory Laguta from the Valsarna side and even the opposing team are unhappy! He has, on Saturday apparently, produced a sick note for the Swedish Tuesday meeting despite riding in Poland yesterday and will be riding in Russia on Thursday. Quite a few changes to the official provisional line-ups declared on Sunday. Scott Nicholls will be absent for Vargarna. As for Valsarna, i've been trawling the Swedish media (via Google Translate) and it would appear Rider Replacement will be in operation for Grigory Laguta, despite the fact he is riding in Poland on Monday night and Russia on Thursday. Added to that Krzysztof Buczkowski didn't ride in England this evening due to back pain. So i guess he could be questionable too. For those who download the MiniMax racecards direct from the webpage, i can make changes late in the day once confirmations are published. I will be checking frequently in the morning (and afternoon) Swedish and Polish sports media and speedway sites. UPDATE Tuesday 10:20 For Vargarna Peter Kildemand moves up into the team proper replacing Scott Nicholls* and Adam Skornicki comes in at reserve. *Just noticed Ghostwalker reckons Scott Nicholls may be a case of R/R this is in contrast to the source i quote below. Gee Whizz complications all over lol. For Valsarna, as expected, Rider Replacement operating for Grigory Laguta and Krzystof Buczkowski is currently listed as starting. It's amazing how once commitments to Elite League matches have passed riders recover to race in other leagues Source http://www.nt.se/nyh...ticleid=7870207 UPDATE Tuesday 16:10 Krzysztof Buczkowski has now been replaced by Zbigniew Suchecki. 3. Thank you very much, excellent info Peter S, i'm sure it helps a lot of people, likely including the riders lol.
  4. Many thanks for the info, all getting put into the diary as i hate missing our International speedway. I see the second leg of the Danish Championship is listed which prompts a question.......can anyone definitely confirm the points that riders carry into this meeting?. I searched far and wide last time and lots of official speedway sources, websites and media reports in Denmark, Poland and the UK gave varying permutations. Rushing off out now but if i get time later i'll go Googling for DMU regulations and see what Google Translate comes up with. Obviously though i'd prefer someone who knows the language to enlighten us all.

  6. Cool that all told it was a 'nice little meeting'. Cool 7 different winners out of 8. Not cool GP winner does not have most points in the meeting. Cool off out to town for about four hours. Cool getting back home in time for MIxed Martial Arts at 3am! Not cool it's on to about 6am eeeek lol. Wow Cardiff next.
  7. Has a referee ever changed their decision after speaking to an aggrieved rider on the phone? Are they allowed to change their decision after talking to an excluded rider? Would we then get another rider speaking about the change!
  8. There has certainly been far more 'racing' than i expected in advance of the meeting. What a shame for Vaculik and the meeting a nasty fall.
  9. It would say OMG! OMG! lol. Obviously i was speaking outside of freak results. Geez! a very pedantic offering by yourself. If Sam is a friend of yours i did point out i wasn't knocking other spreadsheets.
  10. I wouldn't like to try betting on the heats like some do. Costly for Crump and Pedersen there, will Greg take full advantage? Update costly for the third rider behind Greg as Holder exits too.
  11. Someone tell Sky HARRIS IS ALREADY OUT. My spreadsheet (lol) says Holder third = more wins than Harris. Crump third = Crump unlike Harris no non-finishes. By the way i do realise the commentary team don't use a spreadsheet. So i'm not knocking Sam's.
  12. I wonder if there is something in the Swedish air?, should Greg be tested for Pine? He certainly seems to have rejuvenated his longevity by living there. Not only did i not see his title triumph coming, i never thought he'd stay right up there at the top. Very commendable performances still. Ouch Chris Harris confirming speedway bikes combination of rocket and beast. Don't know why commentary team hopeful on the countback Lindback AND Holder already two wins compared to Harris' one. So a third for them is good. Crump lurking right behind with a race to come too. Lol UPDATE commentators just got up to speed.
  13. Whether it's during a round of heats in a meeting or a meeting overall, whenever Greg Hancock suffers a dip his rivals never seem to take advantage. This round of heats Hancock comes last but Nicki Pedersen and Holder only get third places. Even Jason Crump gets beat by Lindback just now. Often when Hancock doesn't make the final his close rivals also don't claw back any great amount such as winning the meeting.
  14. Polish racing on a Tuesday! and Epic too, ouch i missed that, plus we had no Swedish racing this week. Not been around at all this last week or so been a little busy to put it mildly. Obviously the racing, and we can use the word racing, has been better than expected. Like many i was fearing the worst. We do need it to not only continue but get better as the night proceeds though. Heat 13 looks a potential solid race. Hee Hee Nicki going off on one and not excusing his French. He had a point though.
  15. I wasn't even looking at the screen at the time i was going solely on the commentator saying there is only a little crowd in the stadium.
  16. Good Evening Alan and all. I might not be as verbose as usual lol, i trying to watch Nascar on the TV at the same time which leaves me viewing the Speedway on my computer screen via Sky Go (superb high quality) and also have my interactive spreadsheet on the monitor. The track looks like some sort of concrete bowl and Philip Rising's comments and information on the make up of the track alongside historical borefest's means we'll be hoping that the SGP's magic year has it's wands supercharged tonight. No surprise no crowd by the way. Keenly anticipated Heat 2 upon us.

  19. Don't believe the cliche three is not a crowd invite meeeeeee too, i do like that lady. Ok i'm doing a speedy exit the minute the last race ends as i'm doing a Sham69 (sings "we're going down the pub") so thanks for the interesting and fun company. See you at the next one.
  20. I'm not budging from my screen though another two races with top riders I presume that is a flippant joke? I think the World Cup meeting only got in the region of 4,000 and that with supporters making their way from all over the country.
