I think Paul Starke is worth a go on a 4.00 average. He had bad season last year but his average is based on him riding in the main body on a track he didn't seem to get on with. Every year previously he has been a dependable 5 or 6 point second string, is he really in decline at 33 years of age?
I think Scunny might be going a bit top heavy this year.........
S.worral 7.84
k.Howarth 7.76
J.Allen 7.16
S.Lambet 5.87
Z. Kennedy 4.27
N.Ablett 2.93
L.Harrison 2.00
total 37.83
I think your right, it doesn't make any sense why is he holding onto a club he considers to finished/value less. He has stripped the assets (fence and lights) so the sale should be really straight forward unless of course he has taken the brown envelope.
Thomas Jorgensen is having a testimonial next year, could that be a sign he is returning to his spiritual home? Rumours suggest he is not in the Berwick team, although his testimonial could be at Lynn.
tapes, fence and a bit of shale....maybe the lights, Not hard to price up.
However if Chapman has changed his mind and is no longer adamant that the speedway is finished then it becomes lot trickier.
Might want to watch heat 14 again scunny were on a 5-1.
Lawson was unlucky in heat 10 though.
I thought heat 2 could have easly been rerun, red lights came on with 2 laps to go, Kemp could have got Thompson.
If the point limit does drop to the widely rumoured 38, it could be a straight swap Douglas for zaine kennedy. Although I would prefer Howarth, kennedy and Hagon for Dougls, Allen and Ablitt.
