I really hope you do keep speedway going, ideally at premier league level but if cash is tight would you consider dropping Scunthorpe back down to the national league in 2016?

I believe Scunthorpe operate on quite a tight budget, on paper the team looked mediocre but unfortunately injuries have wrecked our season. The poor Scunthorpe side still managed to beat Workington by 16 at the EWR.

I am not sure the asset system complies with free trade rules. Scunthorpe had no problem with David signing for Glasgow but they were not happy with his first meeting back being against Scunthorpe. They could have easily delayed the deal until after the meeting but instead did Glasgow a favour with the assumption that the favour would be repaid.

Maybe Lawson should have received a fine for delaying proceedings. The Berge exclusion was wrong, that should have been Wilko or all 4 back, not a good night for the ref. Sounds like Glasgow broke a gentlemen's agreement using a guest for Sarjeant.

Only in Sweden would the crowd politely clap when one rider takes another out with a diving head lock.

From David's statement it sounds like Scunthorpe dropped him but in speedway star he said he wouldn't come back until he was fully fit. Did Glasgow make him an offer he couldn't refuse?

Well I thought it was a mistake not using a guest for Josh Auty but you can't argue with the perfect display from Birks. I was surprised how poor Workington were, I expected more Hansen and Bach. I think the slicker track actually suited Scunny riders. Do Glasgow have priority over Lawson?

Could use Ben Barker now the Berwick meeting is off.

I think I would prefer a guest for Auty, could of got someone like Josh Grajczoneck.

I have watched a lot of meetings at Scunny and I would say generally the best racing occurs from about heat 3 to about heat 12, towards the end of the meeting the dirt line does get a bit wide IMO. I also think at the end of meetings there are a higher proportion of first bend crashes as riders race to get to the dirt line. Dragging the dirt back a little might mean a longer a grading break but it could improve the racing and safety. I do think Scunny is the best race track in the country and a relatively safe one at that but there is always room for improvement. I hope Rob isn't tearing his hair out with the way this season is going, seems like everything is going wrong.

The abuse the officials will get when a rider gets badly injured in heat 10 in these situations.

Is safety paramount or is getting a result? It somehow or always gets too dangerous right after heat 10.
