  1. Nicki knew exactly where AJ was as he had gone up to the starting tapes to check his grid slot & so saw he was still led on the track (null)
  2. Had same problem so went to krause stream instead Does anyone know what KK said as it seemed he was asked about meeting in UK
  3. Sportowefakty said no fractures for rider who hit fence (null)
  4. Valsarna having major financial problems and pulling out tonights meeting at Piraterna. The number of rain offs was mentioned as part of their problems. Will other clubs especially in Britain who have suffered rain offs be having similar issues.
  5. Kolodziej is wheeler Kret (last year reserve at Rzeszow) was mole My favourite is Simon Sausage for Szymon Kielbasa (null)
  6. "No 6th rider through here as Pavlic gets a wild card" Think it was only 6th rider from Vojens if Pavlic qualified from Divisov. As he didn't then 5 from each meeting plus Pavlic as wild card
  7. Would have thought with all the rain offs this year picking a stadium with a roof is a terrific policy
  8. It seems funny to me that he hasn't received a wild card over the past couple of years. He is the current u21 champion and after a slow start to the season has been racking up high scores in Poland & Sweden as well as a couple in the UK (which I am assume is his lowest priority and included beaten Chris Holder at Poole). Over the past few weeks he has beaten Ward & Holder at Torun and Crump at Rzeszow while top scoring for Piraterna. I know the Polish tracks like giving the wild cards to a local team rider but it does seem a shame that he hasn't got a chance in the same way as Ward, Jepsen Jensen & Pawlicki have.
  9. I find it odd that people on the forum using RICO pictures & #RICO seems to just view Nicki as adding colour to the GPs. Some of his riding on Saturday and the semi final challenge on Jonasson in Gothenburg was very dangerous and could have caused serious injury to himself and others
  10. You just register with on www.unibax.kupbilety.pl with email address and password and then a few details like any other site.
  11. See Emil is quoted as saying won't ride in Poland next year under the regulations and that others won't either so the posturing is gathering pace
  12. We have tended to stay in Zagreb as town is extremely small (even from someone who comes from a small town). It is a very easy journey from Zagreb and via a motorway that takes you about two miles from the track. Motorway is very quiet too.
  13. Maybe they are just trying to avoid a clash with the Somerset vs Ipswich match which is being shown on Sky on Tuesday
  14. On the monster site you now can access profiles on all the four gp riders. The have a report on the two grand prixs so far as well as a preview for Leszno and a big picture on Tomasz on the rolling banner showing their sponsorship of the series. As regards the band I liked the song which featured Tomasz in the video
  15. Generally only Gollob produced good racing at Bydgoszcz for the last few years. Must better racing at Leszno, Torun & Gorzow (null)
  16. Personally I think most of the delay is caused by the way the two minutes work. Riders spend an age gardening before the start of each race. Can't see why the British leagues can't use a two minute clock in the same way as the gps and the league in Poland. Think they also use in Saeden but a long time since I have been to a meeting in Sweden to be sure
  17. In NZ for gp. Bill Buckley deserves a lot of credit for putting on the event. Crowd was very good and will probably 2nd or 3rd highest crowd of the year. Lots of people travelled to gp from Britain, Australia, Sweden & Poland so looks to have been good for airlines & NZ hotels & restaurants. The passport control officers mentioned how many had come in when we arrived at the airport and the waitress at the restaurant said the whole restaurant seemed to be going to the speedway. Unfortunately she wasn't a fan but may be converted in the future I suppose Some Aussies in our hotel in central Auckland now thinking of doing a gp in Europe in the future so good for the spread of the sport. Also Ole Olsen has got a lot of stick about tracks over the years but did a terrific job in making this track. Only one small problem area in third/fourth bend and race between Jarek and Emil was awesome. Also nearly 4 in a line onto back straight in final
  18. As a rugby fan as well as speedway it was possible during the recent European Cup matches to record the red button in advance. Sky were showing two matches at the same time and when you chose the program to record you were shown a list of the two games and could pick the one you wanted.
  19. Maybe Lindgren & Bjerre will share the spot in the team
  20. I agree it is a strange decision and would have expected one of the Aussies like Schlien or Batch, but I don't agree with the selling out of speedway. Motogp (occassionally) and World Superbikes (often) have local wild cards compete and they are not up to the standards of the main competitors generally, so all sports are the same. Alot of the riders in Motogp and the drivers in F1 are there because of the money they bring to the teams and not on merit. Generally the field in speedway is very much the top riders. The faces are mostly the same because they are the best riders not because they are given an advantage. The people at the top in the GPs are usually those at the top of the averages in the league racing also.
  21. Regarding the costs aren't Sweden employing a salry cap this year after a few of the teams got into financial trouble? Secondly could Vetlanda be getting some help from Red Bull as their top 3 are all Red Bull sponsored riders.
  22. There is a suggestion that he may ride for Leszno in the 2nd leg of the polish playoffs this weekend.
  23. Emil was one of the BSI picks for the season in 2009 after his two victories in the u21s. He had failed to get through the GP qualifiers in 2008.
  24. There has been some fantastic racing tonight so why don't you celebrate this
