  1. In there report sportowe fakty are running a poll on those for or against a gp in Warsaw. At present 43% for and 57% against so not exactly one sided against a Gp
  2. Sportowe fakty saying deal agreed for April 2015 http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/423349/grand-prix-na-stadionie-narodowym-dogadane-data-25042015
  3. Think the comment by Phil Rising May have been misunderstood by New Science. Think he meant will make good money from winning title rather than title enough
  4. Agreed ban is stupid but so is all the fuss relating to it in many ways. Really only people likely to have been entering both for certain was Nicki, Emil & AJ. Lot of pain and hassle for a small number of riders
  5. 450 euros per point in first 20 heats, 650 euros per point in final, 450 euros travelling costs and 100 euros per point from NICE this year. So it would be possible for 10950 euros if won a meeting with a maximum score They money is very similar per meeting when the $12000 BSI payment added to the prize money from FIM as effectively all the prize money would have $1000 added. It would be possible for someone to earn on 450 euros in SEC final whereas minimum would be $4400 in SGP for a permanent rider (inc 1/12th of the BSI money)
  6. Any link between One Sport complaining about Tai letting them down in not riding SEC in 2014 (not sure he did let them down considering their promotion of the Rzeszow round last year) and the following day Emil not riding in GP?
  7. How does the respect work. Tai was injured in Stockholm last year but SEC/Sportowe Fakty continued to promote him being at Rzeszow for the final SEC round. In the end Tai issued a statement saying he had informed them of withdraw immediately after the Stockholm GP. Not sure this shows that much respect for the fans or riders.
  8. Not sure it is necessarily spin as this report on Sportowe fakty said they were talking in Jan about April 2015 in Warsaw http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/413115/grand-prix-w-warszawie-w-2015-roku-nie-osiagnieto-porozumienia On the topic of sponsors last year SEC had no advertising boards in the pit area, except for I think Emil. If this is still the case then the riders cannot be going to get that much extra sponsorship as that is the best chance to see the rider sponsors
  9. It is easy to walk from the centre of town to the stadium. From the main square it is probably about a 20 min walk but it is all flat
  10. Eurosport deal was for 3 years so still 2014 & 2015
  11. 10/5 is also date of Czestochowa vs Wroclaw. Will this cause issues for Russian pair
  12. Eastbourne v Poole on 10/5 so will Poole get facility for Darcy?
  13. As the report includes a GB team does this mean BSPA have changed attitude to competition as last year refused entries in the it and the SEC
  14. Think it may be 1 million zloty rather than dollars
  15. In the programme for the Challenge Pavlic was 1st reserve & Harris was 2nd. Assumed Pavlic didn't travel. If he had he would have been in meeting not Harris
  16. Fines/penalties reduced http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/398657/trybunal-pzm-w-sprawie-unibaksu-ok-miliona-zlotych-kary-i-8-punktow-ujemnych
  17. Could the threatened court case cause issues for Polish & Swedish league racing also with the restrictions on teams using certain numbers of home grown riders as surely this also restricts rider options
  18. Not sure this was entirely correct as there was a restriction of the amount of qualifiers from any one country and I think Miskowiak qualified in one round but couldn't progress as there were already 3 Polish riders through. Anyway One Sport meant to be making an announcement today so should be interesting
  19. Will the new financial rules in Poland have an effect. Jarek had been reported saying the new rules could mean a top rider earning less in Poland than in Sweden so could this mean the Polish league has less on an influence than it does now?
  20. Regarding home GPs Lindgren won his in Gothenburg & a large percentage of Gollob's wins have been in Poland
  21. I find it odd that complaints were being made re qualification or picks when SEC was worse. One permanent rider from Poland, Russia, Sweden, Denmark & then UK and in qualifiers a limit on how many from each country could progress (null)
