  1. Why do people on here get so irate with PR? He tries to give us fans an insiders view of things. He's apologized with the story RE Bomber and the engines. Of course he backtracked. Isn't that what an apology is? However anyone who's read Bombers Tweets knows that 100% that was NOT Bomber who wrote that statement. That was a professionally written statement to put him in a good light for again being under prepared for a GP. It's July, that's the 4th GP of the season, he's used those engines before and looked fast in previous GPs and yet he still hasn't got the set up right. That to me should be a bigger issue then Phil relaying a story which to his knowledge was 100% factual...
  2. I'd bet Greg is in top 5 at the very least when all is said and done and wouldn't be least bit surprised if he's in the medals.
  3. He's 4th place in the GPs. Hardly say he's finished boss.
  4. I remember Ben Howe fencing (of all people) Ronnie Pedersan in 1995. Came out of gate 3 never turned left, into the solid wood fence Ronnie went. Wasnt the nicest thing to see...
  5. Hate to agree with you as he was a hero when I was a kid. But he should never be commentating! Wheres Dave Norris...
  6. Well you are clearly not even trying to understand so there's no point trying to explain anymore is there.
  7. But this is common knowledge we know the riders have spoken about it. Get on Twitter, Facebook, listen to interviews. And learn some manners and don't call people fools. Especially when you're making one of yourself.
  8. I read it differently. I read it that people were saying enough is enough and he'll get a taste of his own medicine if he carries on. Not the other 14 riders in a room drawing straws for who's fencing him in the next heat. And let's be honest, are any of us remotely shocked by this revelation? Bunch of the riders already had very public Twitter spats with NP anyway. Plus let's not forget that Phils point was he's glad it came to a head NOT in a racing scenario which he suggested (quite rightly) is better then during. As risers had spoken - not acted upon, but spoken about is after seeing Nicki do something like that one time to many. You will disagree with me & I respect that but I'm just suggesting it's not quite the mountain you've made of it..
  9. Well I'd say that is pretty much spot on...
  10. I think pretty much everything you've said is stupid but I wasn't rude about it. Anyway thats not part of this thread. So I'lll eave it there.
  11. I believe you called me a clown. I merely offered you the opportunity to do it person. If you dont believe get a stop watch and see how much time he had before Greg got to him. And I'll happily disagree with you that approaching someone face to face is cowardly yet knocking them off their bike is not.
  12. Look at the video. He's had half a lap to get off the bike he was at a standstill when greg got to him And please DM your details so we can meet and you can call me a clown in face to face. I've not got personal on here but we can if you want to buddy.
  13. I beg to differ. Ran at him head on. Nikki didnt react. He had plenty of time to but didnt.
  14. Absolutely not. Someone said it was cowardly which implies he was sneaky or underhanded in what he did. He was stupid and irrational, but cowardly, nope not in my eyes.
  15. Oh come on now. He saw the guy he just knocked off running directly at him, you really think he was expecting a kiss and a cuddle? Do be serious. He had 20/30 seconds knowing it was about to get lively! Not justifying it but it was not as previously said 'cowardly'
  16. pandorum Hancock went mental and committed one of the most cowardly acts I have seen on a speedway track and you do not even criticise as he seems to have every right to do that. How was it cowardly? Cowardly would be a sneak attack. Greg ran straight up to him, Nicky knew what was coming a long way off!
  17. Im saying if it was to be one or the other I know whats better. And if you think people should/would never react - especially in such a high adrenalin sport & after such an incident, then you arent living in the real world. That is all. I am not for one moment saying I want riders to go and chin someone everytime they think they are knocked off. If that is how I came across then apologies.
  18. Violence and Thuggery? Come on I've seen people react to a whole lot less then that. All the Pedersan fans on here got such long fuses that if something like that happened to them they'd say oh no that was bad but never mind, I won't react... Come on that's not real life.
  19. Phil Rising said it was better that riders to seek revenge off the track rather then on it. And I'm agreeing. Apologies that I didn't get the terminology or speed of the accident spot on but I think you know where I'm coming from. Getting revenge on a rider during a race and deliberately knocking them off whether it be 40/50/60 or 100mp is not ideal. Would you agree on that?
  20. How? Would you rather a be hit by someone or be stuck in the fence at 70+ MPH? If ever you seen someone fence another rider on purpose it literally makes you sick to your stomach
