The time for any club to race a home race meeting must be when it suits them most in the current climate , irrespective of league . i feel pooles main reasoning for dropping down was 2 fold, one of those would have certainly been race night , the other was monetary i would think as they are business people and try to run at a profit, which they do well. To my eyes oxford spires are wasting their time in the top league, ransacked the team midway thru last season and miles understrength this. Yet the cheetahs get fair crowds and the junior side seem to do reasonably well . Take a real act of faith for someone to move up.

iv outstayed reading, iow and eastbourne in my 40 yrs as a supporter. Unfortunately the leisure pound is v hard to get hold of these days. Personally i hate these 5-6 team leagues with a huge chasm between good and bad. As another poster says you have to disregard poland, speedway is park lane over there and brick lane over here.
