  1. restaurants and pubs to reopen Hairdressers to reopen Hotels and campsites to reopen OUTDOOR LEISURE ACTIVITIES CAN RESUME Places of worship to reopen SD 2M REDUCED TO 1M Surely that's very good news for speedway getting up and running .
  2. It was a sad day when they shut smallmead, was a bit of a tip but literally bugger all has been done on the site for a decade
  3. I admit to missing going to Eastbourne, I liked the side a lot this yr and hope to see them in action worst way at the start of august
  4. All i know is the same mob shut bristol, milton keynes and reading .
  5. i would take any price there wont be any more dog racing at Wimborne road , poole
  6. The moon is made of pancake batter too. All the trainers have been offered other avenues. Stadia uk are great at shutting tracks, not very gd at reopening them tho
  7. Bombers on the decline but this is his track, he should arrest the decline this yr
  8. the team will do 3 grand a season on radian b and ibuleve
  9. It does look a dads army side but must get in the top 4, should always have one really strong reserve
  10. At 44 yrs old with a fair few yrs out the sport I would imagine if he accrues a 5.7 - 6 pt average it would be a pretty good achievement
  11. Len knows the locals will go irrespective , its the blinkered move of an old bloke tbh
  12. Friday nights would paralyse any potential crowds imo
  13. The club has gone from one of the worst for information to probably the best in the couple of yrs ian jordans been there, a family run club in every way, always clear concise reasoning too.
  14. The main issue is if the 2 heat leaders are having a bad trot in the higher league theres nobody to thump in big scores if condidence is a bit low
  15. he was the one that brought the club back to life in the late nineties, it was completely dead in the water prior
  16. If common sense prevailed tom would be allowed to ride nl, i think it was his first match with the new cma moving from reserve when he had his awful crash. Its bad enough him having to ride in championship on 6+ with zero chance of his average settling down over a prolonged period
  17. from an exiled reading fan I would be delighted to have a side to watch every week, win or lose, team looks very poor but you never know
  18. I quite like the Eastbourne side, way way stronger than last yr, top 6 for sure.
  19. I would like a few rounds of ammo to give to peta tbh
  20. Tricky with accident prone riders at 1,3, 5, can they stay fit for long enough
  21. basically 70% OF dog tracks have a media rights deal via BAGS ( bookmakers afternoon greyhound service ), years ago the old oxford was a bags track, think they raced on a Friday. Several others do, central park, poole, brough park, Swindon. The racing gets streamed to betting shops and other countries via sis, the media deal is muted to be coming too an end and there will be huge ramifications when it does
  22. the sis contracts are literally gold dust to dog tracks, the media rights deal, if it ceases will muller half of them overnight.
  23. Just out of interest what were the top and bottom prices for all 3 leagues last yr? I am a nomadic fan since the demise of reading , go to watch Eastbourne a bit as Saturdays suit, I thought they priced CL very competitively at 16 quid
