Extremely enjoyable match, too many last places for the home side. Once again newman was excellent for eastie, others including lawson were under par. Nicholls in ht 11 especially tore lawson apart for pure speed, as a sussex resident he should be no1 on the pecking order for 2020. 2 good looking fixtures on the cards here. Eastbourne have schlein at 1 and pickering guests for Leicester for Worrall. Weather looks very settled so should get 2 bumper crowds. Leicester look very very solid top to toe , eastbournes side looks better than last weeks to me with the 2 tweaks, schlein is excellent at Arlington. Leicester start as clear favourites , Eastbourne must hope to get a 10 pt lead at home worst way and try to stem the tide away. Firstly hope howarth is ok after a bad crash. You need improvers, hume and Stoneman are improvers but very injury prone, morleys best 2 tracks are shut and he has no improvement in him at all, his level is what he is, that's why at 4.81 pre season he was a bad bet, on a 3 then ok but his average was attained at lakeside where 90 % away riders cant handle. People said Eastbourne did wrong moving Jason Edwards in, but hes 16, trying hard and getting a few points, great for his future development.
