What is his CL average? Just checked: 2.86. -

No Ellis next year; he's not doing the CL allegedly. It's 'two new names', probably a 7 and a 3 point riders at a guess. -

Thomsen earned another try next year with his scoring in the last couple of matches: he won heat 1. Judging by Laurence Rogers' comments in the Speedway Star last week, I think that we may be seeing him again next year. Agetoft could ride well, but couldn't do the starts most of the time. -
They were both dropped because they were simply not performing. After losing all of the first six matches, the Birmingham promotion had to do something.

I park outside the tile warehouse on the Walsall Road; plenty of room there. -
Season ticket holders are very much at the back of the queue: when Birmingham went bust in 2014, I had a ST, but when the company had been wound up, it turned out that the administrators hung on to most of the cash, so we got nothing.
-
He made himself very unpopular at Birmingham by not trying!
-
Riders just go for the cheapest one! We had a Prodrive silencer at one time; this was much better quality than the most common type, but cost twice as much so noone bought them! Before you ask, they were selling them off cheap as remaindered stock.

This isn't anything new; I remember in about 1980, the Brummies scored a 5-1 with two sixteen year olds: Neil Evitts was one. Third place was another 16 year old! The one at the back must have felt old ... this was in the 1st Division. -
Having looked at Google Maps, I'm not sure where they are going to put these extra houses?

Alan and Andy Grahame!

Well, being Just Ordinary John I wasn't aware of that ... looking forward to the fun and enjoying the usual speculation! -

What makes you say that? He has been quoted as saying the reverse. -

Tobias Thomsen, who should improve a lot next year, is still on 4, which leaves 5.37 to 6.87 for the seventh. Tero Aarnio would fit in 42.5? I for one would like to see him back. -
The operating system in the computer, including spellcheckers and rude word removers, are American. Therefore, it removes words which are offensive to Yanks, but purely British bad language can slip through!
-
Yes it is: American slang but I won't say what for!

And those who once rode for the Brummies: Nielsen, Doyle, Zmarzlik ... any others? And at one time, in 1981 IIRC, the Brummies included one world champion and three national champions! -
Who he?
-
He was at Birmingham too. All this business about his financial life is for the promoters to worry about, IMO, not fans.
-
No: Thomsen showed plenty of potential in his last two matches: 10 against Scunthorpe, including winning Heat 1. Agertoft has shown that he can win Heat 2; if he spends the winter learning to gate, he will be worth a punt. Both are Brummies assets.
-
He had a slow start due to machinery problems and injuries, but he more than proved himself in the last half a dozen matches: he won the last one for us, and saved the draw against Scunthorpe by a sensational pass of both riders. At the end of the last Perry Barr match, he came round the fans shaking hands with us.

Birmingham v Berwick 11/9/19

Gary Flint's job is to big up his team. In any case, the Bandits lost to the team at the bottom of the league as it turned out, but not in that match the worst team as demonstrated. There was never any danger that Berwick would win; the final result flattered them as they managed to get 4-2s in the last two heats. -

He hurt it at Edinburgh but kept riding in all 3 away matches.
