About five years ago, I commented that Clegg was too good for the NL: he certainly is now. He should have moved on a long time ago.
-
Well, wrong again it seems ... at least they don't have to depend on Pedersen now!
-
Rumours ... you don't believe that, do you?
-
Pedersen made it obvious that the British League came about tenth on his list of priorities when he rode for Birmingham in 2012 (and so became very unpopular). Still, I suppose that Plymouth had to sign someone from a short list as No. 1.

Birmingham Brummies 2020

I wonder why, as he has been announced by the team manager as the RS? Still, the Brummies have James Shanes on the list! -
Some years ago, I drove a new rider around to the training sessions; nobody taught him how to lay it down (mind you, nobody taught anyone anything). However, when he was in about his last MDL match, a rider fell in front of him, and he laid it down in a flash. I don't know how he knew how to do this, though; probably having slid off onto his backside plenty of times!

Ulrich Ostergaard?

On the other hand, Birmingham joined the league late in 2019, and finished last ...

Rory Schlein has been mentioned here, but this may be a guess. As for Gorbauer, Laurence Rogers has said (on the Brummies forum) that all six riders will be in the team. -

Jack Thomas is the Rising Star: what is wanted is a third heat leader, replacement for You Know Who. -

I should hope not ... he was too good for the NL about six years ago! -
Rather circular argument!

Where did you hear this?

Birmingham have all six riders coming back, so you can include Valentin Grobauer. The 'rising star' is Jack Thomas. -

Who? What is your source? -
No, but I use Firefox with an adblocker: works like a charm!

This also applies to Birmingham. Back in the 1950s, the pits were on the first bend, but when the stadium was re-opened in 2007, the council insisted that the pits be transferred to the opposite side of the stadium for noise reasons; they were also to be sound insulated. The promotion has always allowed fans to go round the pits until 7 o'clock, when the bikes are warmed up.

OOH, there are no less than four big football clubs - successful or not - within a few miles of Perry Barr.
-
Hausinger did well for Birmingham at one time.
-
As with the Perry Barr stadium; when it was used in the 1950s, the pits were on the 1st bend, but they had to be moved to the far side, and sound proofed, for planning permission purposes.

Well, rightly or wrongly, you have made it appear that you are just a troublemaker. I suspect that is why they haven't answered. -

Laurence, can we have a definite statement that 2020 season tickets will be valid for 2021?
