Some of you seem determined that Bees should die. As for the NL, Birmingham and Eastbourne fans have enjoyed it, and not missed the so-called Elite league. All you real Coventry fans, come to Perry Barr on 28th March and see for yourselves: both clubs have assembled good teams, and it will be a great match.
Silly ending, though. Bill proves he is still a top rider by beating the latest wonder boy, dreams of being world champion in 1946, 47, and on ... then the stupid bugger gives it up for a woman!
Some of it is, but more than half is during the war (including a very funny scene where Bill Fox dozes off during a lecture on how to start a motor bike. The instructor challenges him to demonstrate what he should have heard, so Bill rides around the parade ground broadside).
Well, you won't by stabbing Horton in the back - whether he deserves it or not. This seems to me to be major aim of some posters on here, including you.
Well, I would, but it seems from this and other sites that Coventry fans ('fans'?) don't really want the club back, and are more interested in attacking Horton than in actually supporting the Bees.
You have to remember that this picture was knocked up by some computer geek who has not the faintest idea what a speedway/greyhound stadium looks like!
