I suspect that this is MDL: I met James several times last year, and he definately wasn't ready for NL. He has joined the Peterborough MDL team.

Some of it is, but more than half is during the war (including a very funny scene where Bill Fox dozes off during a lecture on how to start a motor bike. The instructor challenges him to demonstrate what he should have heard, so Bill rides around the parade ground broadside).

Well, you won't by stabbing Horton in the back - whether he deserves it or not. This seems to me to be major aim of some posters on here, including you.

Well, I would, but it seems from this and other sites that Coventry fans ('fans'?) don't really want the club back, and are more interested in attacking Horton than in actually supporting the Bees.

This agrees very well with my own experiences (not as a rider, but a helper). How did you get to know this?

What is this amateur league, anyway? Is it team racing or individual racing like Scunthorpe and the others?

You have to remember that this picture was knocked up by some computer geek who has not the faintest idea what a speedway/greyhound stadium looks like!

Is there no MDL at Leicester (either team) this year? Couldn't MK try there?

With Mildenhall, the complaints were about the stock car racing, where the noise went on until the small hours, not the speedway.

I suspect that if this were agreed, the same thing would happen: plenty of promises, but no stadium. Or, if by some oversight, a track were built, some of the house buyers would complain about noise and have the track closed down!

Don't be so arrogant. Other promoters come on this forum and give useful information.
