  1. No problem. I guess the postage will be around 2 quid or something, will check on the Polish mail website closer to time. Once I get the scarves from the producer, I will prepare a parcel and send you yours.
  2. No problem, as long as B52 doesn't mind but I guess he doesn't
  3. I will be standing/sitting at the backstraight. Closer to time I will think up some sign (a banner or something) so that you could find me there to pick up your scarf/ves and I will obviously write it here (along with my mob phone number sent via PM).
  4. Dear die hard fans of Tomek Gollob In less than 4 weeks our hero is going to be crowned the Individual Speedway World Champion. To commemorate this historical moment I have been thinking about producing a limited edition of special scarves - "Tomasz Gollob - 2010 World Champion". All scarves would be bilateral, high quality and made according to the beneath project. Side 1 one would be in Polish ("Mistrz Świata 2010"), side 2 would be in English ("2010 World Champion"). The scarves would be distributed by me during the Bydgoszcz Speedway Grand Prix weekend - at Friday's practice and Saturday's event. For those not coming to Bydgoszcz but who would like to buy the scarves, I could prepare parcels and send the stuff by post. One scarf would cost 25 zl (~ 5 GBP) Before I order producing the scarves, I would like to know how many people would be interested in purchasing such scarves. If anyone is interested, please post in this topic (and write the number you would like to buy if you want more than one scarf). If there seems to be a sufficient demand on such scarfs, I will order producing them Polish/International - Side 1 Polish/International - Side 2 PS. Especially for all Gollob fans from the beautiful Scotland (who are coming to Bydgoszcz in a really large number ) I could order producing some even more limited edition of the scarves, including the Scottish flag and emblem - made according the beneath project. Scottish - Side 1 Scottish - Side 2 PPS. Sorry if you find this topic as spam - I have warned in the topic description!
  5. www.kupbilet.pl 3636 extra seats on 6 temporarily built up stands on the stadium crown. The best possible view over the track and the whole stadium. Each ticket is a numbered seat and costs 200 zl. Sale is to start at 8.oo am (Polish time) this Thursday (16th Sep) on the above website. And I guess it won't take long until all the tickets are sold out (even despite this high price) - blame Mr Gollob
  6. Well, I can say so far Gollob's been making my holidays even better!
  7. Thanks a lot for this link! It saves my life tonight, here in the non-speedway Spain!
  8. I have just read some unofficial news they might build some extra, temporary stands for the Bydgoszcz Grand Prix. Their capacity would be around 5'000 so the Bydgoszcz club could sell 5'000 tickets more I guess this would be something similar to what they have mounted in Monaco for the F1 race. Anyway, if anyone of you missed their chance for buying tickets, there might be some extra tickets on sale soon. PS. I'm going on holidays tonight and will be offline for 2 weeks so if anything re above - try to ask any other Pole on this forum as I won't be able to reply
  9. Czestochowa v Bydgoszcz has been postponed for Sunday, Sep 5th. Which means Czestochowa will be missing Woffinden & Bridger (U-21 at RH) and maybe Karlsson (injured after last night's crash?), while Bydgoszcz will be racing without Sayfutdinov (injured) and Wozniak (U-21 at RH). Doesn't look like TVP Sport are going to show this meeting - think we'll only get to watch Torun v Leszno which is on the same day. The decision re ZG v Wroclaw is now due to be made tomorrow but the possible date is Wednesday, Sep 8th. 2nd leg matches of all 3 pairs will probably take place on Sunday, Sep 12th.
  10. The decision re 2 other pairs (ZG & Wroclaw, Bydgoszcz & Czestochowa) is to be made tomorrow by the Ekstraliga commissioner. ZG suggested racing on Sep 12th (1st leg) and Sep 19th (2nd leg). Sep 5th is not a good date because of the U-21 final at Rye House. This would mean moving the league finals one week ahead in the schedule. Personally I won't mind if the commissioner decides so - it's always better for everyone (Polish fans, British fans) if they ride on Sundays and not on work days.
  11. Before we start I'd like to say I love the way the lady presenting in the Polish Canal+ studio looks like today
  12. We are so mighty that we even have one free date in the league schedule which is Sunday, Sep 12th. I guess the clubs may make some use of this free date now.
  13. Well, all tomorrow matches of Ekstraliga have been cancelled, of course. Will keep you updated when the clubs agree on the new dates.
  14. The second leg of the Wroclaw v Zielona Gora battle has just been postponed from Sep 5th to Sep 12th (which is a free date in the league schedule). Leszno v Torun and Bydgoszcz v Cz-wa are not going to be postponed.
  15. 5.30 pm (4.30 pm British time) Zielona Gora v Wroclaw Live on TVP Sport 6 pm (5 pm British time) Torun v Leszno Live on TVP Sport 6 pm (5 pm British time) Czestochowa v Bydgoszcz (race-off for staying up in Ekstraliga, 1st leg) TVP Sport are making a joint broadcast from both matches with the match in Zielona Gora starting just a big earlier than the meeting in Torun. As usual, links to the live streams can be found on http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport on Sunday evening. This time I won't be here on Sunday - going to Czestochowa for Bydgoszcz' most important match of the season
  16. Leszno v Torun... Leszno, I think. ZG v Wroclaw... ZG, I guess, but it's a big unknown. ZG seem strong at the moment but Wroclaw beat them twice in the main part of the season so everything's possible.
  17. No run-off cause if in case of level (52-38 in both matches) the winner of this pair would be Wroclaw (because they finished higher after 14th round). But seriously - this system is so f..ked up
  18. And Ward was using Pulczynski's bikes today? They changed them just for fun or what?
  19. I was surprised as well. YES, exactly. The play-off rules are so complicated that even I get confused sometimes. The sooner they change this whole league system the better for everyone.
  20. Alright guys, the mini-table of the 1st round of the play-off's: Winners: 1. Zielona Gora - 2 wins, +7 pts on aggregate 2. Leszno - 1 win, +12 3. Torun - 1 win, +6 Losers: 1. Wroclaw - 1 win, -6 (lucky loser) 2. Tarnow - 1 win, -12 3. Gorzow - 0 wins, -7 So...: 29th August: Zielona Gora v Wroclaw Torun v Leszno 5th September: Wroclaw v Zielona Gora Leszno v Torun He turned 18 this year - born in April 1992, according to Wikipedia.
  21. Ahhh, you know, those Polish girls can work miracles over one night
