Nicki Pederson Axed - True Or False?
Mateusz replied to Edward Barrett's topic in International World of Speedway
Latest rumours say Rzeszow (Division 1) are very interested in adopting Pedersen. He used to ride for them before he moved to Czestochowa, for 2 years (2006-07)... Do they have enough money to get him? We'll see I just don't want any Ekstraliga club to sign him now (very impossible to happen, anyway) as this would shake the balance of the powers in the league. However, unless Hancock agrees to ride for Cz-wa on new financial terms (he didn't ride today and they got shamed at Z.Góra), they are the first ones to fall down... and I'll be shocked unless they do. PS. All in all, I would not generalise too much as for this Czestochowa & NP case. Cz-wa are in quite a deep sh!t at the moment because their strategic sponsor has withdrawn but the general shape of the league is not bad and there's a really, really long way to finish in the place where the British league is now... which I really hope will never happen. Most clubs do count every single zloty and the line-ups are still strong. Hopefully, Cz-wa has been an exception only -
Even though my life may be a bit shorter because of stress, I love such matches, these last heat decides... but only with happy endings

Streaming Tv For All Speedway
Mateusz replied to cuorelibero's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
They also say on this website that the amount of these pay accounts to watch matches live is limited so they could provide the fluent broadcast online... We'll see, but hope that if people pay for this it won't be a slideshow. -

According to http://www.tvp.pl/sport/zuzel/centernet-mo...straliga/cennik it is: 5 zl for a single round (so 2 matches) 40 zl for the entire season. Zlotys, not euros. 5 zl = 1 pound at the moment, more less. -

Why do u think so? -
He's getting used to the father duties
-
A nice chick
-
Don't think so. Any more details of the problem? Do you get any message instead? PS. Have just read in one of Bydgoszcz newspapers that Torun v Zielona Gora will not take place on April 13th as originally scheduled. The stadium won't be ready by then. ZG agreed to put off the meeting.

2009 Sgp- Who Will Win?
Mateusz replied to Wildcat's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Any excitement? Saying very briefly: Bydgoszcz, Leszno, Gollob, Sayfutdinov... A closed shop? Watch Emil this year! PS. Sayfutdinov got Polish citizenship today He'll be representing Russia in SGP and riding as a Russian in Ekstraliga though. Polish citizenship was needed to end massive problems he usually had with getting visas to travel between Russia and Poland/EU. Due to those problem Emil won't ride in Swindon and Poole in March. In a couple of weeks he should get his Polish ID and passport and then such problems won't happen again. -
Yes, minus 1 hour for UK.

The province partition doesn't matter at all. There used to be 49 provinces in Poland till a local government reorganization in 1999 (16 since then). Bydgoszcz was in the Bydgoszcz province, Torun was in their province. But Bydg v Torun was always called a derby match. Anyway, as Tommy said - who cares, actually. ZG v Leszno is one of league classics, same as ZG v Gorzow and Bydg v Torun. Call it as you want, 19th April is gonna be a special Sunday
-
Google the map of Poland and check! Zielona Gora is in the Lubuskie province and Leszno is in the Wielkopolskie province but the distance between both cities is about the same as between ZG and Gorzow (both in Lubuskie). So ZG have two derby matches, against Gorzow and Leszno, although the one against Gorzow are a bit more important for them, I guess.

TVP Sport are gonna show two matches each Sunday (and on Eastern Monday). Looking at the below start times - both matches should be broadcast live on TVP Sport and on their website 1st round - 5th April 16.00 - Lotos Gdańsk - Unibax Toruń 18.30 - Unia Leszno - Caelum Stal Gorzów 2nd round - 13th April (Eastern Monday) 16.00 - Caelum Stal Gorzów - Polonia Bydgoszcz 18.30 - Cognor Częstochowa - Unia Leszno 3rd round - 19th April 16.00 - Polonia Bydgoszcz - Unibax Toruń 18.30 - Unia Leszno - ZKŻ Zielona Góra Two derby meetings one day! 4th round - 3rd May 16.00 - Caelum Stal Gorzów - Atlas Wrocław 18.30 - Unibax Toruń - Unia Leszno 5th round - 10th May 16.00 - Atlas Wrocław - Unibax Toruń 18.30 - Caelum Stal Gorzów - Cognor Częstochowa 6th round - 24th May 16.00 - Lotos Gdańsk - Polonia Bydgoszcz 18.30 - ZKŻ Zielona Góra - Caelum Stal Gorzów 7th round - 31st May 16.00 - Atlas Wrocław - ZKŻ Zielona Góra 18.30 - Cognor Częstochowa - Lotos Gdańsk All times are CET Links: - Ekstraliga fixtures for 2009 - Ekstraliga line-ups

Ryanair To Cut A Few Routes To Poland In 2009
Mateusz replied to Sandie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
RA are rubbish at everything, except the prices. The weather can be beautiful, all flights of other airlines can be on time but for some unknown reasons RA must be always delayed, from 15 mins to 2 hours.. or more. And that circus music played on their planes I choose them only because of the financial aspect, just like the public transport, national mail, national railways etc.. - all the same cr@p and ignorance. -
What did u base on making this rating ? As it doesn't make much sense to me

Andersen moved from Torun to Gdansk. Which means Kosciecha stays in Torun. The only big name w/o a contract is Hancock then. Very likely he'll stay in Czestochowa tho.
-
The stadium is in the town centre so yes, absolutely In April it should start about 4 pm. No chance the tickets may be sold out. You can get them on the day of event but may spend a while in a queue then. Comparing to the UK the atmosphere is smoking hot. I especially recommend the derby match against Torun - 19th April. I can guarantee you won't forget this one...

Skornicki goes to Gdansk.
