First of all - have you read all of my posts it this topic accurately or just the first one? Secondly - have you read other reports on that Sunday or have you just come back from your holidays, read my first post and then started writing yours without knowing the facts? Anyway, once again.. Writing this widely quoted phrase 'ZG f......' I meant ZG hooligans or generally those drunken idiots who came up to the cage. I used this phrase among the report on the after-match riots only and as for me it was obvious that my words refered to those guys who took part in it only. You contradict yourself here. You say it is the club that provides the security but also that it's not club's fault. Ewa, the point is that it is the club's fault as this security was not provided! As it turned out later, there were too few security guards because of the security agency that covers matches at ZG. But still, it is the club that takes resposibility for this. That's why I asked you above if you've read further news about the riots. Of course hools have to be punished but the consequences have to faced by the club as well (to avoid such incidents in the future). At this point (a few days after the match) I must admit I'm positively surprised by the action undertaken by the local police and the club management. Many times such incidents had been downplayed (e.g. Tarnow v Rzeszow last year) and that's what I was afraid about this time. Closing a stadium is the most radical answer obviously. Personally I don't wish it to any club - to any normal fans. But some action have to be undetaken to prevend from such incidents in the future. Closing the stadium is a kind of punishment that figures in the league regulations. However, as we can see now, the police have started working, your club as well and I think that results of their action satisfy all people that had to 'experience' that mess. And by the way, it's not the problem with the alcohol, it's just problem with some people. If someone wants to get p!ssed they'll always find a method.. There just should have been a better control of what people carried into a stadium and later on when some cans started flying around - those idiots should have been immediately pacified. I know it sounds simple in theory and is much harder to do but the fact is there were too few security guards so these so called security factors just didn't work properly... Do you misinterpret my words on purpose? Zielona Gora as a speedway club or even more precisily - some of ZG 'fans' have always had a bad reputation. Well, at least one of the worst in Poland. And this is a sad fact you cannot disagree.. Same as the fact that Zielona is quite a nice place indeed Still, I don't know if you wanted to misinterpret my post or what but nevermind. I began it as follows - "A great match, lots of '5-1 kick answers'. The stadium totally overcrowded, people sitting/standing everywhere - trees, ad banners, ticket booths etc. - truly amazing. But tho' I have some mates in ZG and I have a great respect for shows made by their Net Fans" - and all really harsh words I wrote were about ZG hooligans and sh!tie safety at the stadium. Had a full right to be angry with it and to dose a bit cynism in the last sentence. Didn't mean to offend all normal fans at all, especially you and Tommy. Anyway, sorry for shocking, disappointing and deeply hurting you if I really did so.

The idea of this so called cage is good and every stadium in Poland has its cage. Thanks to this fans of both teams are separated (usually there's also a buffer zone by both sides of the cage). The problem at ZG was that their hools could get to the track freely after the match and then head towards the cage - this is absolutely unacceptable and it changed the cage from a kind of "safety zone" to a "rifle range". No one's forced to sit in a cage btw - you can always sit between local fans but for your own responsibility.. (incognito )

Exactly one month to the carnage today -
Alright, ok. Just to make it clear - writing that I meant those hooligans of course. Not the normal audience.
-
Still you cannot compare it with ZG. At least drunken idiots don't run around the track here after a match.. And girls don't come home bruised..
-
There were much more of them than three but it's better than nothing. At least our lazy police did something at last. Now it's the time to punish the club. Some video bits from the after match mess: http://serwisy.gazeta.pl/wideo/44,76004,4048663.html

Maybe just to make themselves ashamed, at least for a while..

Stunning attendance at all Ekstraliga matches. I guess that mostly because of the fact it was the first round and fans were really starved of speedway. Anyway, worth noting: Zielona Gora v Bydgoszcz - 12'000 (overcrowding) Torun v Leszno - 12'000 Tarnow v Wroclaw - 15'000 Czestochowa v Rzeszow - 13'500 It's much more than most Polish clubs of our Football Ekstraklasa get at their sh!tie matches. I hope that fools from Warsaw = Polish public tv (who are famous for their ignorance to speedway) might check these figures sometimes..
-
Let's say, at least in statistics. AJ didn't seem to have a great will to fight after being hit by some cans (but have to agree that Wolbert did quite a good impression generally ). Actually, if I were Andreas I'd do an honour lap showing my arse to local fans (just like Crump did at SWC in Wroclaw some years ago).
-
No. Well, it's always harshly at the matches like Bydgoszcz v Torun, ZG v Gorzow etc - so called local derby matches. But Zielona Gora have always had a reputation. Yesterday they only proved it.

Yesterday's match Zielona Gora v Bydgoszcz 43:46 Zielona Gora 43: Fredik Lidgren 7 (3,3,0,1,f), Niels K. Wolbert, Jonsson, Okoniewski (ef) - 3:2 (43:46) - - - - - A great match, lots of '5-1 kick answers'. The stadium totally overcrowded, people sitting/standing everywhere - trees, ad banners, ticket booths etc. - truly amazing. But tho' I have some mates in ZG and I have a great respect for shows made by their Net Fans, I think that brutishness should be eradicated anywhere and I must write a few words about a scandal that happened in the end of this great speedway event. In the heat 15 PePe tried to overtake AJ from the inside but bumped Swede's bike and caused his own fall crashing with Lidgren while heading towards the fence (must say it was very like PePe ). Anyway, PePe's fault undoubtedly and he was excluded. After a while riders rode out for the re-run and then the madness started. AJ was literally bombarded by bottles and beer cans aimed at him (everything was accurately shown on telly).. IMO the heat should be cancelled and 5-0 given for Bydgoszcz (the match had been already decided). The ref decided to carry on depite some sh!t lying at the track. Fortunately nothing flew towards the riders during the ride. Once the match finished some drunken idiots jumped over the fence and started running around the track, heading for the cage with Bydgoszcz fans. After a short exchange of courtesies ZG f..kers started throwing stones, pieces of plastic seats (anything really) to Bydgoszcz fans closed in the cage. Of course security guards decided not to react and stay in their positions with pants full of crap. The situation was quite serious. Among the fans there were some women and kids. One guy was hit in his head and taken to hospital later on. Some of my mates (including girls - maybe that's why I'm so p!ssed off) came home slightly bruised too (there were about 80 fans from Bydgoszcz).. As the security guards seemed to be more scared than kids they decided to call the riot police - the so called "white helmets". The police arrived after a really long while (why am I not surprised..?) and chased local f..kers away catching only one of them (the slowest runner I guess). Why couldn't they just have some fun and shoot those pieces of crap down? (alright, using rubber shell..) It's all a huge scandal and Zielona Gora club should be fined with serious financial panalties. I'd even close their country stadium. I know it was only a group of drunken idiots from about 12-thousand crowd but if we wanna fight against such situations (well known from football leagues) the panalties have to be imposed! It is a scandal that an Ekstraliga club cannot assure protection for a group of about 80 fans located in one place called "the cage".. On the telly they said that Zielona Gora are going to aspire to SGP organisation at their stadium.. Was it a joke or what..?! Summing up - Zielona Gora, thank you for providing us 2 league points, now you can go back the Division 1 or 2 where your place is. PS Sorry Tommy but I'm really p!ssed off and would also be if such things happened here in Bydgoszcz. Hopefully they won't.

Do you know if SkySports is available on Sopcast or any other kind of this stuff ? Asking as I don't have PolsatSport here in Poznan so I have to wait till I get home and watch what my bro recorded. My friend tried to find PolsatSport on Sopcast but same as you - didn't manage. Polish Ekstraliga is broadcast on Polsat- channels (live on Sport or Sport Xtra, relive on Polsat 1 or 2). As I remember a channel TELE5 showed some meetings of Division 2 and TV PULS did Division 1 but not sure about this.
