  1. Oh I don't remember this one. But after Henka's famous past in Bydgoszcz I guess this must 've been just a friendly gesture Right, that's the other side of the coin. But his great form actually stopped when he crashed himself in Golden Helmet '99. Then the guy calmed down but as you said it's been not that Gollob anymore.
  2. Honestly not.. but I'm not sure if I get you meant
  3. Still better than Polish C+. It's three boring guys in a studio talking rubbish all the time. Don't know why they send Daria there as she even couldn't move to Jagus' pits and check what was going on. And a quote of the day "We're sorry but we only know the same as you in front of your tv's". So what are you doing there then!?
  4. You're right at some points but it sounds a bit like a moan after another lost GP for us, Poles. And I think you would agree with me that our 'aces' should come back to GB and learn how too keep the inside.
  5. So far he's been even worse than PePe last year!
  6. Ok, thanks. Even despite today's action I don't wish him badly but wouldn't mind if he has a day of rest
  7. Regarding tomorrow's match of Rzeszow against Bydgoszcz, does anyone have any confirmed info about N.Pedersen? Has he got injured during that crash in Eskilstuna?
  8. Honestly, do you remember Gollob causing anyone's fall in recent years..?
  9. Don't know what they said on Sky but on Polish Canal+ they obviously didn't know what the doctor said so it's hard to assume if it was a right decision to exclude Jagus for the rest of the meeting or not. Anyway, a huge shame I had tried to gain some respect to Pedersen but the guy screwed everything again. Hope he won't ride tomorrow for Rzeszow...
  10. Time for return matches and bonus points now. Czestochowa - Zielona Gora (19.00 cet) Torun - Tarnow (19.30) Wroclaw - Leszno (18.00, live on PolsatSport Extra) Rzeszow - Bydgoszcz (19.00) Seven rounds so far so everyone has ridden once with each rival. Ekstraliga table: 1. Torun - 11 pts 2. Leszno - 10 3. Rzeszow - 8 4. Zielona Gora - 6 5. Czestochowa - 6 6. Wroclaw - 6 7. Tarnow - 5 8. Bydgoszcz - 4
  11. Don't know if it's even more or just more power There were some problems with the engine(s) in last heats today. Hope they will sort it out till Friday and AJ will achieve a decent result in GP at last. PS. I'm not sure if this piece of news was worth opening a new thread but never mind.
  12. The answer is no. But I've done calculations and there's still some chance we can finish in the safe 6th place as now we have "easier" matches comparing to Tarnow and ZG. Besides, I must admit this year's regulations (the whole play-off system) are very friendly for teams like Polonia. Theoretically, you can lose all 14 matches and then win your play-off for the 7th place (and then the race-off with the 2nd team of Div 1) and you stay in. But this play-off for the 7th place must be a horror so everyone wants to be in the top 6 of course. - - - - - And unfortunately, a sad update to yesterday's information about that car accident with fans. Two of three boys taken to hospital have lost fight for their lives last night
  13. Proved once again that without AJ we are nothing. The 5th defeat in a row but I still hope this team can save Ekstraliga for Bydgoszcz, somehow..
  14. After all I have got confirmed info that Andreas is not riding today. God bless Polonia.
  15. About 7 pm I think as it's gonna be the first night meeting in Ostrow at their rebuilt stadium.
  16. The weather is brilliant - clear sky, over 25 degrees. A few minutes ago I wanted to say it was a beautiful day but have just got tragic news that two speedway fans from friendly Grudziadz have died in a car accident coming to watch this match... [`] RIP The other three ones are fighting for life in hospital now. Their memory will be honoured by a mourning banner hung on the backstraight fence. We have obviously resigned from making the show we prepared for this match.
  17. You're right, it's the Golden Helmet that 'nominates' Polish riders. Held in Bydgoszcz on Wed, 6th June.
  18. Definitely. He might be riding even tomorrow in the league match in Bydgoszcz.
  19. Alright, just find something for Monday instead of leaving in rush on Sunday.
  20. As got some enquiries in pm about the sector A - it is not sold out. They just haven't started selling tickets for this area yet but they will soon, I think.
  21. ...back to the topic then - are you gonna join us and do your first speedway trip by bus in Poland?
  22. www.e-ticket.pl There was a sell-out for the Wroclaw backstraight this year because of plastic seats installed over there. And there are gonna be some changes at the stadium in Bydgoszcz too - the whole 1st bend will be unfortunately covered by these numbered seats. This means that the backstraight is gonna be overcrowded as never before and the tickets for this area may be sold-out. I recommend to do your booking then. (Of course some people are a bit more privileged and don't have to do it when it comes to Bydgoszcz ) All details will be on that website I believe, but can I already say that the prices are as follows: - main stand - 500 zl (anyone fancies? ) - sector A (numbered seats, 1st bend) - 170 zl - sector B (backstraight & 2nd bend) - 85 zl
