  1. I believe that the GSA's include any matches against the defunct team, up until the end of the season, but those matches will be removed from the GSA's for the definitive 2021 GSA's.
  2. http://www.scbgb.co.uk/download.php?view.6958 I haven't compared the two, but the above link is to the 2018 Match
  3. It's actually slightly different to the PZM v RoW. It is the same format as GB v Australia at Glasgow in 2018.
  4. Bit of a misleading statement! Palin ran into the back of Dan Thompson's bike and that sent them both into the fence. Dan's bike severely damaged. Fortunately both riders walked away from the incident. Palin excluded.
  5. It's a common (and very predictable) post from Steve. Only Poole are ever weakened by a missing rider, every other team is made stronger by R/R or Guests.
  6. Thanks Steve... you are soooooooooo predictable.... At 9:15 I text my mate:- "Wait for Shovlar to say that Leicester will be stronger if Andersen is ruled out!"
  7. Just as an example:- From Strike Zone First Aid Event Cover:- It is not possible to give exact prices for our services as this will depend on the risk assessment however typical costs are: £14/hr for 1st aiders, £16/hr per medic and £12/hr for an ambulance to be on site. (All prices are subject to a minimum charge of £75, mileage is charged for distances beyond 25 miles) 7 x Medical Staff:- 6@£14 + 1@£16 + Ambulance@£12= £112 per hour! + Mileage!
  8. Sorry, my typo regarding the time, just knew it was earlier than most others.
  9. Agreed with the even earlier start times.
  10. Hopefully the U21 Event will also be a 4pm start, thus enabling a reasonable time to start the journey home.
  11. Really depressing news! When I was the Coventry correspondent for the Speedway Mail, Colin was always very amenable to the 'Press Gang' as he named us. He traveled (cadged a lift) with myself and Wayne Roberts to a few Bees away matches and often had us in stitches, or awe, with his outrageous (but true) tales of his life as a rider. We always had to stop on the way to Eastbourne at a certain spot for an ice cream. A really great loss to our sport in general. RIP Pratty.
  12. I think that around 40,000 people might hold a different opinion regarding Cardiff!
  13. But, do the Leicester riders want to finish second? 3rd - 6th placed teams have 2 Play Off meetings guaranteed, with the chance of a further 2 meetings. 1st & 2nd have only 2 Play Off meetings.
  14. And how do you think the "pools panel" would have scored the Panthers v Tigers score last night?
  15. You can have R/R for an 'ill' rider but he is then unable to ride for 7 days.
  16. Perhaps I am a bit of a cynic regarding Poole (Me? a cynic regarding Poole shenanigans in the past? Never ) but, maybe Poole thought that he may not get around the Leicester circuit without a few falls, and declared him ill. And later discovered that he'd had a fall in Denmark, which was a more acceptable reason for absence?
  17. Needs to double up to make things pay?
  18. Rory Schlein according to the Leicester match preview.
  19. Anyone can run on any night, but Premiership teams have first dibs on a doubling up/down rider on Mondays and Thursdays.
  20. Current GSA's could change if the rumours of the sad demise of Eastbourne turn out to be true. I believe that all Eastbourne matches would be expunged from the records with Eastbourne riders reverting to their 2021 starting average. So any team that has raced against Eastbourne would therefore probably have their averages re-calculated too.
  21. They didn't have their 'own agenda' they wanted to be World Champion, and the only way they could achieve that was by joining the GP Circuit. So you think that the likes of Hans Nielsen, Leigh Adams, Jan O Pedersen, Erik Gundersen etc. etc. should have said don't want to be World Champion, I want to ride for my British club on a Saturday.
