It would certainly need concessions on prices from the Ferry companies. I have a booking for outbound and return ferry next month, admittedly with the free cancellation premium, but it is over ยฃ300 for car and 2 persons.

Czech GP Prague Saturday 23rd May
Gambo replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Despite not being a fan of Jack Holder, I found it grossly unfair that Madsen (11 points) got seeded to the Final when Jack (11 pts) had beaten him in Heat 19. I could however, agree with heat times being the criteria if there had been 3 riders tied. -
Foxes vs Lions PL R1 21/05/2026 19:30

I arrived at the (half mile, or thereabouts) traffic queue at 6:45. They opened up the overflow car park just as I actually entered the stadium gates. I was directed to the overflow, and was the third car in there. Rather fortunately this allowed me fast exit after the meeting. -

One of them (now blocked) even claimed to have a wicked sense of humour, but I've seen no evidence of that in any of his posts. BTW. A ๐คฃ or ๐ emoji does not make a post funny. -

You can find the Racecard abbreviations by downloading the 2026 SCB Regulations at: REGULATIONS / Downloads - Speedway Control Bureau Abbreviations are on Page 128. -
This is the same killjoy who doesn't want Coventry to return, gloats over Swindon problems. Did not want to believe that Oxford, Buxton and Northampton would materialise. Has not had a good word to say about the sport in general. Hardly what I would call a Speedway fan, more like a Clarke Osbourne sycophant.

Not allowed apparently.

Nobody is forced to donate, purely a personal decision. The promotion have been overwhelmed by the support, both financial and practical, that they have received to date. How long does it take insurance companies to pay out? The need is now! Not in a few months time.

...and the starting gate.. and machinery damage...and pits infrastructure damage.... etc.๐คฌ And..BTW. putting a laughing emoji doesn't make your post funny.

OMG> Just seen on FB about Leicester track vandalism! ๐คฌ

I was going to add R87 to my Ignore list, but then realised that I would never see his apology for getting it so wrong with his constant negativity.

...."Promoters can also decide to ride in whatever league can make them the most profit, given the lack of any decent prize money or publicity for winning either, so, once again, are quire content to keep things as they are..." I don't think that is true as I believe the CL promoters refused the application of at least one PL club during the winter.

30 PL meetings? More like 16 + KO Cup
-
Surely.. One League 14 teams. 26 meetings minimum. 5 rider teams = 5 or 6 rides per night.
-
Fair play to Poole for usually managing to attract the exciting prospects. Shame they do the absolute minimum (and that's only when forced to) to help with the development of these youngsters.

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?
Gambo replied to Lionsman66's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe they 'insist' because the Championship promoters will not allow PL clubs back into the CL? -
Your post means that we all have heard it now! ๐

Wait until OsbouR87ne sees this!

There are some FIM SGP crashes appearing on-line. There are usually Crash & Cock up DVD's available. I may be wrong, but none of the UK production companies seem to put them available for free-to-air viewing.

Col Cottrell. The original 'armchair' rider.

Grand Final 2nd leg Ipswich vs Leicester
Gambo replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Emil was not looking at the Green light in heat 1. He was looking at a camera on the fence, 3 fence panels from the tapes. Still, congratulations to Ipswich.
