I have posted similar on this forum before, only to be shot down by those 'in the know' that. Throttles never stick, cut outs always work, it's no risk. Despite the rule book stating the lanyard must be attached whilst the motor is running. It is, after all only a rule

Speedway in the media never recovered from the Sunday People's proven race fixing articles, most people saw speedway as a circus act, the fixing of results just reinforced their view.

With the support levels the "professional" leagues get, amateur racing looks the only way British speedway can run. The fans will just have to accept it or walk away

What a complete mess of a meeting, promoting club losing money, 2nd and third better than a win, whatever happened to speedway. What attracted me to the sport was winner takes all, first past the flag wins, sad day for the sport as it dies a little bit more
