The flashing light is due to a rider, I believe it was Swindon, running into a tractor on the parade lap.

I have posted similar on this forum before, only to be shot down by those 'in the know' that. Throttles never stick, cut outs always work, it's no risk. Despite the rule book stating the lanyard must be attached whilst the motor is running. It is, after all only a rule

Speedway in the media never recovered from the Sunday People's proven race fixing articles, most people saw speedway as a circus act, the fixing of results just reinforced their view.

Sadly the thousands that attended in 1977, but no longer do, disagree.

With the support levels the "professional" leagues get, amateur racing looks the only way British speedway can run. The fans will just have to accept it or walk away

What a complete mess of a meeting, promoting club losing money, 2nd and third better than a win, whatever happened to speedway. What attracted me to the sport was winner takes all, first past the flag wins, sad day for the sport as it dies a little bit more

Nothing wrong with the qualifying system, all riders should be in it. Too much dross back in again

Zmarzlik increases his lead at the top, one race win all night

The only difference between eigth (there are seven worse) in the GP series and Kvech, Pawlicki, Becker and lebedevs is a lack of opportunity nothing more. Until the chance happens we will carry on with the same old dross.

This is exactly the thinking that holds speedway back. Today two of the top five in the GPs showed their class, but Lambert who is currently eighth was soundly beaten by Kvech and Becker. This is on track that Lambert is the current track record holder, yet people want to stay with the same old faces.

From where I was sitting at the end of the 4th corner lambert was rightly excluded, it looked like a desperate, dangerous move
