  1. THE DEAN MACHINE posted in the Polish league thread that Peter Ljung used one on Saturday, he scored 11 points. So there is still a little life left in the saga.
  2. Had the same thoughts, leased stadium, assets with no value if the league standard gets lower. All that's for sale are two old tractors and a BSPA licence, even that may be worthless if clubs like Rye House have theirs for sale.
  3. The referee made a decision, which in his interpretation of the rules, at the time of the incident, was correct. What is there to condemn ?
  4. Not such a noticeable decline in their league either. Running as a proper professional sport has it's benefits in other countries.
  5. Even after all the rumours from previous years, he was still willing to sign there, rather than a British club. That tells you more about the state of British speedway than any forum thread.
  6. A kick in the teeth for an extreme sport, second place is good enough to win. Looks like Poland never fell for B#ll S#It Included's propaganda campaign
  7. It needs to be, only B#ll S#it Included could take something that worked and turn it into this garbage
  8. It will be interesting to see the lineups of the two teams at the restaging of this meeting.
  9. Surely that is Middlo's job as manager, to make the riders work as a team. He seems inept at doing that, that is before the biggest ego of them all, Holder, turns up to spill more fuel on the flames
  10. The problem Peter Nahlin had was, after not riding in the night in question, he was banned for 28 days by the BSPA for withholding his services. Which prevented him earning money for the rest of the season
  11. Why would he want to be a nine pointer ? The aim of every rider should be 7.99 so they can be employed again in 2019
  12. Very much a meeting were the result was controlled by who was or wasn't there. But the Russians were always going to be top. The Austrians missed Harold Simon who would of reduced the Swedes impressive second place points total. As you write, Klabo would of been amongst the points as well. But Sweden raced well and deserved their second place
  13. You are correct iris 123, Whitey is now residing in Newcastle. He received his visa and was set to travel to Russia. But now he has his ankle in plaster after an accident with a bicycle, so he didn't fly.
  14. The Faringdon raceway was a dirt track, with a speedway track inside for training. The speedway track was maintained by parents and friends of the riders. Troy Smith, Martin Chessell and the Knappmans learnt there amongst others, Rosco had a few skids as well.
  15. Hopefully the British boys will be there as well
  16. I can't understand your logic with this. The engine was to be sold and used sealed where do the tuners come into this?
  17. I was catching up with the meetings I had missed on YouTube. Having watched the Gorzow v Wroclaw play off second leg this meeting can only be described as dross
  18. Made a mistake or moved over to keep British fans interested in a lack lustre GPS series
  19. He came 14th in 2010, 16 points ahead of Emil Safutinov who only rode 4 of the 11 rounds.
  20. As skidder states 0%. From the picture it looked like a flaw in the material. Quite a rare thing, but always a possibility
  21. There was a picture posted by Rainman on facebook, the spindle nut had split
  22. So the British speedway champion isn't the obvious choice for a qualification spot, fair enough. Perhaps the best thing to do is select the the top averaged British rider over the season, top two Craig Cook and Danny King. Maybe the best thing for the ACU track racing committee is to use Mystic Meg to select in future
  23. As Danny King is the current British Champion, he is the obvious choice for a place. There were 15 other riders that had the chance to win and claim a qualification place.
  24. Adam Ellis had a good meeting, his gating was perfect, he dropped a point to Lambert, who passed him in his first ride. Then in his second ride he found too much drive on the 4th turn and lost a further point. The Russian,Chugunov and the Danish rider, Jackobsen both outscored him. So you cannot blame FIM bias if Adam Ellis doesn't get a wildcard pick.
  25. There were a few being used in the U21 qualifier in Eskilstuna today
