  1. Poland need to be second, for the crowd at the race off. Australia need to be second, to use the race off to get their bike preparation right for the final. Team GB may find the enthusiasm of a youthful Slovenian team harder to beat than they think. Maybe a strange meeting, as the top two teams not wanting to win, may throw up some odd race results.
  2. The worst posible punishment, he should be made to mechanic for team GB in Peterborough Last week he was put forward as the saviour of British speedway
  3. The 2 semi finals had a seeded rider, but where is the information on a seeded rider in the GP Challenge ? According to the Fim web page it's 8 and 8 to qualify
  4. Better than nothing, so who can we cheer for?
  5. Looks like an updaters nightmare waiting to happen. The possibility of 5 Jensens in the final. Good to see entries from Australia and Norway in the mix, but nothing from GB
  6. Thats impossible iris123 you can't have Pedersen and Sayfutdinov both finish in the same race After being at Kumla and watching the pass by Holta, (which left Crump looking like a novice) he looks in good form.

  8. He wasn't ready to start, so it was a 2 minute exclusion
  9. To be fair it's only once in each GP Pedersen has hit him off, not every time they meet
  10. If any of the riders actually belived Sayfutdinov's motors were oversize, it would only cost 25 quid to put in a protest and get it proven. But just think of the loss of respect from fans and fellow riders if the motor was ok. The FIM protest procedure Any person or group of persons - rider, passenger, entrant, manufacturer, official, etc., recognised by the FIM and concerned by a decision taken under the authority of the FIM, has the right to protest against that decision before the International Jury, except in the case of statement of fact. Protests against the eligibility of a rider, passenger, team or a motorcycle entered, must be made before the start of the official practice. Protests against results must be presented to the International Jury within 30 minutes following the publication of the results. An appeal may be made against a decision of the International Jury to the International Disciplinary Court (CDI). All protests to the International Jury must be made in accordance with the requirement of the Disciplinary and Arbitration Code of the FIM and be accompanied by a fee of USD 40.- or SEK 340.- returnable if the protest is justified or forfeited if the Disciplinary body considers the protest to be groundless, or if it is withdrawn without a hearing. IMO this is media manipulation to undermine the Russian rider
  11. It had an interview with Pedersen so it had more comedy content than Swedish TV tonight.
  12. Thought it was top 6 from each of the 5 qualification rounds, joining two seeded riders in the semi's.

  14. Thought the reserves were selected by their finishing order at the British final. It should be Woffinden and Richardson, but as Richardson is riding in the GP qualifier, the same night, it was passed to the next best finisher which was Stead.
  15. Are GB sending a replacement, or is Richard Wolff taking his place?
  16. It would appear they are, Rickardson and Jorgensen don't come cheap but they are there, and even the rider currently 17th in the GP can afford Tatum in his corner.
  17. Try http://www.speedway.org/ But the last time I checked the line up was still incomplete, as the French federation haven't declared a rider as yet.
  18. Not anything to do with them both being Danish then, just the human side
  19. N Pedersen was disqualified because he was the cause of the stoppage, in the opinion of the person in charge of the meeting. In Cardiff he conned the referee twice, so the ref's have still got one to get back.
  20. Sorry missed that bit. I did find it strange, going back to wood fences but I can see the logic with the handlebars thing.
  21. I thought that some Swedish tracks were replacing the wirelink fence with wood, on the straights this season.
  22. The FIM link has Krister Gardell so we will wait to see. http://www.fim-live.com/en/media/news/news...13th-june-2009/
