  1. The selection for the WC spot is being decided by the track racing committee, so I'm not 100% sure yet. There will be no GB rider in the European Championships, the place has been given to Austria and I've heard a rumour that the Norwegian won't be going either. My season starts in Poland on the 2nd of January in Gniezno, weather permitting.
  2. I'm here Kevin doesn't have any bikes, they are for sale at Pegasus Speedneeds, so he needs to buy one back quick.
  3. The NA newspapper in Sweden revealed that he wanted to join Indianerna, but his wage demand would have bankrupted the club http://na.se/sporten/speedway/1.993629-na-avslojar-henka-nara-indianerna-braket-over
  4. http://live.sportowefakty.pl/launch_speedway_2471.html Has the results Holder had 2,1,2,1,0 for 6 points
  5. Holder 11+1 from 5 rides, Madsen 3+1 from 5 rides Ward 1 from 2 rides
  6. I thought that Graham Reeve had taken over the Youth coach role.
  7. Harris rode there earlier this season and won the WC Qualification round. Holder rode there in 2009.
  8. Couldn't agree more, the reward for being a mediocre British rider is a GP wildcard pick. So you only need to be mediocre.
  9. Don't worry there will be two in the GP's again thanks to the free entry wildcards
  10. Sent the semi results by PM good luck with your web site

  12. It's strange that all of this has happened just weeks after the BARB viewing figures have been amended to give more accurate numbers. //www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=51662&st=15 The figures on this thread suggest that Sky were over estimating viewers by, in some cases as much as 200% using their old BARB calculations. This would have misled the Sky directors and their potential, and existing advertisers, to the benifit of showing speedway as a live sport. Therefore relagating the sport to a minor position in their schedules.
  13. The run off is needed for the presentation of trophies and prize money.
  14. Nicholls didn't fall when he knocked THJ off the first time.
  15. Thats how he tried to ride. His interview at the start of the meeting showed how he felt about being in the reserve spot, for the "first time since I was 17." He had a point to prove tonight, but over did it on the track.
  16. Pawlicki rode earlier today at Divisov in the EM U19 team championship, which the Polish team won easily only dropping 4 points.
  17. Lvov, Rovno and Chervonograd have all held EM championship meetings this season.
  18. It's not only at international level the Brits are like this though. Two seasons ago a British rider was signed to ride for a team in Sweden, he was given the chance to practice at their home track with help from the teams top riders. He told the team manager, he 'was a professional rider and didn't need to practice, as he could score points anywhere'. During the season after scoring 7 points from 3 meetings, 2 of them at their home track, he was dropped.
  19. //www.speedway.org/ has the meeting as tomorrow at 15.00 CET, due to the rain today
  20. SVT 24 is showing the meeting on the 26th from Kings Lynn, at 20.30 Swedish time. The meeting on the 29th at Vojens is on the same channel at 20.00 and the final is on the 31st at 20.00.
  21. As Bogdanovs had qualified from Lendava with 12 points and an ef,and won the semi final at Krsko with a 15 point score, it's not a suprise to see him at the top. Shame that the meeting didn't get completed he could of finished with a bigger lead. The next meeting is at his home track so it's looking good
  22. People on this forum complained that tax payers money was used on the new Wembley stadium. It's a good job no one watches the Speedway GP, think of the uproar, wasting taxpayers money on dirty motorbikes.
