Unfortunately that is what happens, look on other threads Walasek, Ulamek and Sayfutdinov all criticised prior to the start of the GP series as not good enough, no hopers, a waste of a GP space.
It's a British thing. The Germans can't be any good or they would ride in Britain.
It will be interesting, if Team GB finish last in Peterborough they will have to qualify next year. IMO they will struggle against teams like Slovenia and Germany outside the UK.
There was only one team for the win in this meeting, but it's good to see Germany in second place, despite losing a rider early in the meeting.
The youth policy in Germany is certainly working,
The reason that Lindback and Sayfutdinov have TR in their corner is, they show talent. They are motivated indviduals who are making an impact on the sport.
The Brits show no appetite for success, and will always receive the Sky sports wildcard to next years circus so results don't matter.
The riders themselves are responsible for who they chose to have in their team, all it shows is a real lack of ambition from the Brits.
Another good entertaining GP , Good to see the old guard, percentage riders dropping down the score sheet, lots of passing and re passing, controversy, good nights viewing again.
In the last GP series Nicholls won 5 races in 11 GP's, what he's not doing is getting close to fight for second place, which is where the majority of his points have come from in previous seasons.
This season he's won less then 8 races in two leagues and two GP's. But I have no doubt if he wins the British final he will accept the Sky Sports wildcard again.
The real problem is if Team GB come last they have to requalify, without home advantage. The current squad would have trouble beating the Czech, German and Slovenien teams anywhere except their own back yard
