  2. Broadly it looks good but obviously the devil will be in the detail, for example with the promotion and relegation play if a rider rides for both teams in either league what happens then.
  3. Looks like there will be a statement from the BSPA tomorrow afternoon regarding this weeks AGM, fingers crossed they make the necessary changes that will see speedway in this Country on a more secure footing for seasons to come.
  4. SpeedwayGB ‏@SpeedwayGB 2m2 minutes ago UPDATE | Day 2 of the AGM has concluded and we expect to have a full update with all the important news tomorrow afternoon. Thanks all.

  6. Garrity Doolan Jorgensen Carr Branford Gappmaier Depending how much they lower the points limit will determine the last rider.
  7. Just seen this announced on Twitter, condolences to all family and friends. http://www.poolepirates.co/news/20161029_davelanningrip.html
  8. If Cook wants to make strides in speedway he needs an EL team plus contracts and regular racing in one of or preferably both Poland and Sweden. If he wants to simply swell his bank account over the next few seasons he will simply race in our EL and PL and nowhere else.
  9. Kenneth Bjerre #91 ‏@kenneth_bjerre 44m44 minutes ago corrupt circus! Do you get the feeling Mr Bjerre isn't happy.
  10. Congratulations to Liam Carr on his Rider of the Year award last night.
  11. Fair enough but Hancock wouldn't have been excluded from the race and Holder would've got his 3pts.
  12. One wonders had been another rider what would happen regarding a future ban, agree with you about his podium interview, pathetic. Thing is had he just retired from the race with engine problems, real or otherwise I doubt any of this would've happened, so I`m afraid Mr Hancock has brought all this on himself.
  13. Things seem to be quite positive at Plymouth, though they may drop to the NL, but hopefully a season or two in the NL might at least give them an option of a return to PL racing. Lets hope there`s good news coming from Workington very soon. Rumours on this forum suggest there`s one or two clubs looking to move leagues both up and down, with the AGM in a couple of weeks I`m sure things will be clearer after that.
  14. The regulations certainly make for interesting reading but as I posted before Hancock`s exclusion yesterday should be enough punishment. Hopefully in the years to come he will be remembered as a worthy World champion for 2016 and not for going off on the huffy bus as he did yesterday.
  15. Giving the hour of the post I`d say a certain amount of alcohol affected things a bit.
  16. Good luck to both teams, personally I hope Newcastle come out on top.
  17. Monsters sponsorship has been fantastic for speedway and long may it continue, but they shouldn't be allowed to affect the World Championship standings. IMO Hancock was dealt with yesterday with an exclusion, that is where his punishment should end, much worse for Hancock is the damage to his image within speedway ( for the fans anyway ).
  18. You would have to feel sorry for Janowski if he is over looked for a wild card in favour of Hampel, true it was injury that took Hampels GP spot away from him but I haven't seen anything in his comeback meetings that would suggest he would be competitive at SGP level, if there is to be another Pole in the GP`s then surely Janowski has a better shout than Hampel.
  19. Speedway Updates ‏@SpeedwayUpdates 14m14 minutes ago 2017 SGP Wildcards: Zagar, Hampel, Nicki, Emil. Emil back in the GP's
  20. Hang on that`s our new team manager your criticising, though I agree with you completely. I think its to the FIM juries credit that they made their decision today.
  21. I`m hoping Steve Brandon doesn't bottle the question with Hancock.
  22. All credit to Holder on his win, but the meeting will be over shadowed by the actions of the new World Champion.
