  1. I agree that Sayfutdinov will be an added attraction to SGP but he chose, for what ever reason, to leave the series, I think now he has decided to return he should do the qualifiers as I think it would be unfair on other riders who have tried season after season to qualify. I accept that at times the qualification system can be a mine field but that applies to all the riders competing.
  2. Sayfutdinov is a great rider, and should have little problem coming through the qualifiers for 2018.
  3. But he left SGP of his own accord, I don`t see how it can be fair that now Sayfutdinov has decided to give the GP`s another go BSI should give him a wild card.
  4. I agree it would be great to see Emil back in SGP but through the qualification system and not through a wild card.
  5. As far as the Pairs is concerned I agree with you, it is a Mickey Mouse event, as soon as they ditched Countries and replaced them with sponsored team names it became pointless. The individual event less so, which is why I think some of our riders would do well to take part, of course that means missing fixtures on a Saturday night inparticular, maybe another reason for the EL to consider a one race night each week, it is going to happen at some point.
  6. It would be great to see Emil back in the GP`s, but it was his decision to leave so I hardly think its fair for him to get his place back through a wild card pick. I think he should do the qualifiers to qualify for the 2018 series.
  7. I`m sure he would rather stay injury free and qualify for a top eight place and take a place in next years SGP on merit, and giving his form last night the the SEC Final who`s to say he wouldn't have achieved that.
  8. Ipswich Witches ‏@ipswichspeedway 1m1 minute agoEast, England Joe Jacobs is also suffering from flu so David Wallinger rides at number six for the Witches #speedway #Tru7Witches
  9. I hope Torun can take some kind of a lead into the second leg.
  10. When the EL changes that normally filters down to the PL in some description. Seeing the likes of Bridger, Harris, Nicholls etc would suit them financially and raise the standard in the PL which is not what is needed IMO, if our younger better are to progress they need to get contracts in leagues abroad and get out of the comfort zone.
  11. Having picked up broken ribs & wrist plus a concussion in the Golden Helmet meeting, if he misses GP meetings and the top eight, surely Nicki Pedersen will be a shoe in for a wild card pick.
  12. Nicki Pedersen has been taken to hospital with a wrist injury and a concussion.
  13. Congratulations to Nicki Pedersen on becoming the new SEC Champ.
  14. https://www.facebook.com/anders.d.thomsen.5?fref=ts Not the nicest of pictures so maybe some may not want to look at what is obvious breaks.
  15. Anders Thomsen has posted on Facebook that he has broken both his arms.
  16. Ljung taken a lesson out of Tai Woffinden`s interviewing school there #pottymouth.
  17. I`m no medical man but from the state of Thomson`s hand after his crash I`d say that is Thomsen`s season done.
  18. Unfortunately true, nasty looking crash that might've resulted in a fairly major arm or wrist injury.
  19. Nasty crash for Thomsen which looks like he has suffered a pretty obvious arm/wrist injury.
  20. Giving the amount of people who have, or have had, the use of this account you would've been better to stand at the turnstiles or pit gate and shook hands with everyone who came through.
  21. One of the guys that I sit with at Berwick is over there now and I think he is staying at the Hotel Euro, next time I see him I will point him in your direction and ask if he will send you a PM with the information you need.
  22. Still lots of rumours, dont worry about that.
  23. Either way Berwick will have to give some kind of indication as to what is going on, a buyer has been found and they are still negotiating, a buyer has been found everything is agreed and Berwick are running, no buyer has been found the present owners are closing the club, or the present owners will continue to run pending a new buyer being found. That intention had to be given at the pr-agm meeting last year, you`d think that will be the same story this year round. Who will represent Berwick at this years AGM.
  24. Wont Berwick have to give some kind of intention of running next year at the promoters meeting that discusses any changes before the AGM, that will take place in the next month or so.
  25. One of many rumours, like the one of at least 2 other PL promotions are supposedly interested, its a real rumour fest right now with Berwick.
