  1. Me to, if Buster Chapman is serious about his Chairmanship of the BSPA then he must move to rule Poole`s team illegal. If the supporters can see then the rule makers should do to.
  2. Ok fair enough, but I am sure Poole will now recall the fit again Anderson.
  3. Not yet they haven't, Poole were quite entitled to use Lindback until Anderson was fit to return, which he has today by racing for his Polish club. That means he should resume racing for Poole starting at Wolves tomorrow night, if Lindback stays in the team then Poole are breaking the rules and you`d love to think the BSPA would grow a set and make sure all the clubs in this years EL play offs stick by the rules, however I am sure we will see Anderson suffer a re-action to racing today and be deemed unfit for the Poole fixture tomorrow night.
  4. A new owner may well bring in his own manger which I hope doesn't happen as IMO Scott did enough this season to be kept in his job. Fair to say if it wasn't for likes of Dennis Berwick Speedway probably wouldn't be here today.
  5. Surprised to haven't been jumped on the usual crew for spreading these rumours, its not on on the Berwick threads. I would welcome someone coming in that is new to Berwick with a fresh approach both on and off the track.

  7. To the best of my knowledge Pedersen has never had to rely on BSI for a wild card, but there is no way we would go into 2017 with Nicki in the SGP. Hopefully he will make a full and speedy recovery and be back good as new for next season.
  8. Hate is a strong word, and I don`t see why a wheel chair should make any difference. I have riders that I favour more than others but I don`t have it in me to hate anyone. We have a rider, regardless of who it is, who has picked up serious injuries, any sensible thinking person would wish him the best, those that can`t bring themselves to do that would do better to stay off the thread. As for Darcy Ward`s comments, if you have nothing sensible to say probably best to say nothing.
  9. I would hope the picks aren`t for the rider who by his own choice left the series who now by his own choice is ready to return, surely its for the rider like Nicki Pedersen who will not get a top eight place because of injury, or the rider like Hampel who had a place in this years series only to lose his place through injury, or for the rider who misses out on a place because he lost a run off in the GP Challenge having gone through the qualifying system.
  10. I agree that Sayfutdinov will be an added attraction to SGP but he chose, for what ever reason, to leave the series, I think now he has decided to return he should do the qualifiers as I think it would be unfair on other riders who have tried season after season to qualify. I accept that at times the qualification system can be a mine field but that applies to all the riders competing.
  11. Sayfutdinov is a great rider, and should have little problem coming through the qualifiers for 2018.
  12. But he left SGP of his own accord, I don`t see how it can be fair that now Sayfutdinov has decided to give the GP`s another go BSI should give him a wild card.
  13. I agree it would be great to see Emil back in SGP but through the qualification system and not through a wild card.
  14. As far as the Pairs is concerned I agree with you, it is a Mickey Mouse event, as soon as they ditched Countries and replaced them with sponsored team names it became pointless. The individual event less so, which is why I think some of our riders would do well to take part, of course that means missing fixtures on a Saturday night inparticular, maybe another reason for the EL to consider a one race night each week, it is going to happen at some point.
  15. It would be great to see Emil back in the GP`s, but it was his decision to leave so I hardly think its fair for him to get his place back through a wild card pick. I think he should do the qualifiers to qualify for the 2018 series.
  16. I`m sure he would rather stay injury free and qualify for a top eight place and take a place in next years SGP on merit, and giving his form last night the the SEC Final who`s to say he wouldn't have achieved that.
  17. Ipswich Witches ‏@ipswichspeedway 1m1 minute agoEast, England Joe Jacobs is also suffering from flu so David Wallinger rides at number six for the Witches #speedway #Tru7Witches
  18. I hope Torun can take some kind of a lead into the second leg.
  19. When the EL changes that normally filters down to the PL in some description. Seeing the likes of Bridger, Harris, Nicholls etc would suit them financially and raise the standard in the PL which is not what is needed IMO, if our younger better are to progress they need to get contracts in leagues abroad and get out of the comfort zone.
  20. Having picked up broken ribs & wrist plus a concussion in the Golden Helmet meeting, if he misses GP meetings and the top eight, surely Nicki Pedersen will be a shoe in for a wild card pick.
  21. Nicki Pedersen has been taken to hospital with a wrist injury and a concussion.
  22. Congratulations to Nicki Pedersen on becoming the new SEC Champ.
