  1. Berwick and Glasgow produced a very decent meeting earlier in the season, no reason why that wont be repeated this Wednesday. Berwick could do with a win to get back into the play off shake up, and a win would keep Glasgow within striking distance.
  2. To be fair to Nicholls he said before Saturdays meeting in Vojens that Rossiter had made the correct decision with the team and that he hadn't been riding well enough to deserve a pick, so I don`t see Nicholls as the prima donor.
  3. I applaud Hans Nielsen`s stance over Pedersen, it seems Nicki has more interests and distractions away from speedway these days.
  4. Doesn't really matter about the punctuation or spelling, on this occasion he is right, Woffinden, and Lambert for that matter should've been there for the Team GB practice.
  5. Very disappointing, especially Tai, as best rider, captain and team leader hasnt yet rode there and you would think wouldve done everything possible to be there, Lambert at least has ridden there before. At least we can cross the lack of track time off the excuses list, should Tai offer it of course..
  6. Whilst I agree with you, Glasgow turning up with guests galore and/or R/R on a Saturday could have the same effect on travelling fans as this Wednesday`s meeting is going to have. Looks like Berwick were caught between a rock and a hard place.

  8. Young Zach faces an operation tomorrow to repair the breaks, hopefully he will be back asap.
  9. I am staying at the Premier Inn in Denton, seems its not to far from stadium, surely there is a bus going from hotel to speedway, any of our friends from the area can help.
  10. Delighted I got my tickets and hotel sorted out months ago, looks like there`s going to be some disappointed people come Friday and Saturday.
  11. On this occasion yes, I applaud referees that take a firm decision in first bends as she did with Jepsen Jensen and Janowski in earlier heats, but she got Ht18 horribly wrong.
  12. All four back for everyone, apart from attention seeking fools who like nothing more of a Saturday night than to go on a fishing trip.
  13. To be fair she has done ok up to Ht18. And tonight Mr Attention Seeker post goes to ..........
  14. Berwick threads, the place where no opinion is allowed, plenty of multi usernames mind you just no opinions that dare to disagree. This is information from his Polish, clubs. http://speedway.com.pl/riders/dawid-stachyra/
  15. Agree with most of what you say, though there`s no reason why Emil cant get his career back on track, get back into the SGP, and have the chance of becoming World Champ. IMO Emil has been badly advised at times, maybe its time to do what he wants, and not what his manager and/or sponsors tell him.
  16. Great to see Berwick back to a seven man team, lets hope David is worth the wait and comes up with points to keep our play off push going.
  17. Berwick in recent years have attracted GP Qualifiers, World Finals, and last Saturday a British final, Sky have chosen a Berwick home meeting four times now so somebody some where thinks the club are doing something right. I don`t think anyone has put Berwick forward as the epitome of great racing, its true we`ve had some rotten meetings at times, but we`ve also had meetings that were excellent, to describe it as crap is way off mark and a bit daft really.
  18. Thanks for posting the link, very helpful for those of us who will be making their first trip to the new Belle Vue Speedway.
  19. Sayfutdinov certainly has the talent to be World Champ, whether he has the drive is another matter, doesn't seem to be the kind of rider to see his ambition and really go after it no matter what as he tends to let others decide his future for him, sponsors, manager etc. I would love to see him back in the GP`s but I agree with those who have said it should only be through the qualifiers, he may bring some commercial bonuses with him but it should be remembered he dropped out of the GP`s and there will be more deserving cases come the end of the current GP series.
  20. I will be using the bus from my hotel, there and hopefully back.
  21. Yes you are quite right, my mistake. Still don`t see him as our replacement for Alden due to the rules regarding EL clubs No8`s.
  22. Surely our reserve for the SWC has to be Josh Bates.
