  1. How i wish there was an unlike button. Meanwhile back at the GP......
  2. Sad to say but it seems Nicki Pedersen`s World Championship boat has sailed.
  3. Delighted to report that Leon Flint has qualified for his first world final after racing in his qualifying meeting in Poland today.
  4. Mads Korneliussen ‏@madskliski 23m23 minutes ago Very disappointed to say that I have been sacked from Kings Lynn! I want to thank all the fans and all my teammates #LostForWords
  5. Maybe time for a review has at the minute he cant be happy with his racing schedule at the minute, he was in much the same position as Craig Cook who also decided to move his career on by dropping the PL for a contract in Poland, like Morris that didn't work out and now he is busier by going to Peterborough. Obviously Morris joining Berwick looks a non-starter mainly due to average and Swindon`s doubling up riders but IMO his career has stalled this season.
  6. Haven't checked his last PL or his converted EL average, but would Nick Morris fit, only does EL just now, no regular Polish meetings.
  7. Liking your own post is a window on your sole, very telling.
  8. Not so good, though there was talk of a leg injury so maybe we can be thankful it wasn't worse, hopefully he will get back very soon.
  9. Not so sure, Brady Kurtz rode in Poland yesterday so I think it was due to that, anyway he rode in the same meeting on Saturday as Craig Cook and Robert Lambert, both of whom made it back to race for their PL clubs.
  10. Cresent Girl makes some valid points, its certainly not for the want of trying that the club have so far failed to fill Sebs boots. Many riders have been asked but for the reasons highlighted have not been suitable for Berwick, it would be pointless for example to sign a rider who was going to miss some Saturday nights, or some away meetings, because of pre-arranged fixtures, Under-21 meetings etc and the club were left with no facility other than having a NL rider at No1 as Plymouth had to do last night at Newcastle. I am as eager as anyone to see a seventh rider, I am sure the club will get one, hopefully by the time we ride as a team in a couple of weeks, many riders available just need to get the right one.
  11. Any news on Simon Lamert, hopefully no news is good news.
  12. Whilst I agree with most of your post I seem to remember a lot of posts wanting Rohan Tungate out of Ipswich for this season. All teams with any kind of play off ambition will mark the Scunthorpe away meeting as must win, tells you everything about Ipswich.
  13. Somerset look a very handy team, so its no surprise they won and went through. Hopefully Simon Lamberts injuries aren`t as bad as feared and he is back asap.
  14. I agree, though the need for speed seems more important than ever now, especially on these slick tracks. If we are to use more dirt then the bikes need to be slowed down somehow as with the bikes now they seem virtually uncontrollable when the hit any dirt.
  15. Lets hope Gollob gets a team next season, some of his team riding from him this season is incredible.
  16. Berwick have saved two meetings now using covers, but on both occasions they have been lucky with no rain during meeting time. Had it rained yesterday as heavy as some forecasts suggested then the weather probably would've won covers or not. Still think covers are worth looking at, for when it rains in the morning but there is an improving forecast, but it seems with todays meeting at Glasgow the weather would've won no matter what.
  17. You`d like to think so wouldn't, sadly its just how certain riders treat speedway over here these days.
  18. Unfortunately Gappmaier`s qualification for next years SGP ended in Lonigo last night but he has shown in his short time with us he very capable at PL and hopefully will be in the Berwick team for future seasons.
  19. Fair enough, maybe in this case covers wouldn't have help save the meeting, but its something clubs need to look at as with so many rain offs for certain clubs its highly likely they will be unable to get their fixtures in by the cut off gate, without running meetings on off nights or running double headers which in most cases a big money losers.
  20. Fair enough but Berwick`s Nielsen was unable to take part in the re-run through no fault of his own. It just might help to allow an No8 rider come in as and when required as it would let the meeting flow quicker than we had last night, injuries accepted, and give the paying public four riders in as many races as possible and lets face it most No8`s are junior riders with little or no experience so its hardly likely they will come in winning races.
