  1. Workington Comets ‏@OfficialComets 1m1 minute ago Good to hear @kyle_howarth has been released from hospital with no broken bones and will be resting at home
  2. I`d be more worried about the starting manoeuvres of the Berwick riders, ie how to get out of the starts and to the first bend before opposition riders. Only Workington and Redcar due to be racing in the PL next Saturday, with Leicester and Kings Lynn in the EL, so with 10-93pts to play with there`s lots of options for a suitable guest to cover the injured Stead.
  3. Looking at comments on other social they certainly don't see Josh Grajczonek as a dirty rider, far from it in fact.
  4. Disgusting comment but one oh so typical of this poster. I think I`m right in saying Josh did, or still does, stay with Kyle when he is racing over here.
  5. Question. Is Kasprzak the first speedway rider ever to have reverse as a gear on his bike ?. Red helmet colour wasted on Kasprzak.
  6. Woffindens "only working at 80%" comment coming back to bite him on the rear end.
  7. Kasprzak warming up nicely for tomorrows Derby by stuffing his team mate.
  8. Nice words from Kelvin & Nigel regarding Lewis Kerr.
  9. i know there`s only been two races, but this looks like gate and go all night long.
  10. Looks like this poster has Robert Lambert in his sights, be worried Robert be very worried.
  11. If things don't work out over the next couple of months or so this could be a very short thread.
  12. https://twitter.com/NickiP_Racing Nicki at practice today.
  13. Delighted to read that Lewis has taken a few steps to what I hope is a full recovery.
  14. Once he settles he will prove to be a good signing, one or two PL will be wishing they had signed him.

  16. There has been encouraging news that Lewis had some scans done yesterday which appear to be ok, obviously its still early days but lets hope the good news continues later today.
  17. You think. The Polish Riders Final was a cracking meeting with some unbelievable racing. As you say Thornblom finished in 15th place in the Swedish Final, the meeting was won by Antonio Lindback who appears to have really got things together this season, maybe he could be in line for a return to SGP.
  18. Lets hope in a few years time you can bring out a volume two.
  19. Maybe this post should be printed off and read before the start of this years AGM, where no doubt after hearing it all of speedway`s ills will be cured, just like last year, the year before, the year before that, the year before that and well you get the picture.
  20. Those Berwick fans who would like a trip down memory lane might want to have a look at the years gone by section of this forum, there might be something of interest for you.
  21. It would certainly be one in the eye for Monster Joe and his troupe of riders.
  22. Oh how I would love to respond to this post, but levels decency and rules of this forum stop it. I have never had a warning in my time on here and don't intend to start now, no matter how strong the temptation.
  23. No it wouldn't be a hardship, but as has already been pointed out Berwick Speedway seem to get little or no leeway when it comes to an alternate night now never mind asking for a complete change of race night. Back in the seventies Sunday afternoon meetings may well have been well attended but I think the rules regarding and regulating speedway at Shielfield have changed a bit since then.
