No not really,Ashworth has always done well at Berwick and the incident with Makovsky is long gone, and anyway Makovsky has no conections to Berwick anymore.
I thought Brent Werner was retired so his signing is a real gamble and IMO will be seen to fail, there are far more attractive options on that average that would do at least as well if not better than Werner.
May well have done,Sitera seems to have struggled in the EL,so a move to a PL team might just do the trick.I remember seeing him doing a couple of Open meetings before he raced over here full-time,looked very impressive. The only problem in him coming to Berwick would be Continental meetings at the week-end.
Would fit in at Berwick.
Good signing for Plymouth in Ashworth.IMO Plymouth have as good a top two as there is in the PL,but they need back-up,and so far I dont see it.
Its a queer one right enough,Werner was a decent PL in the past, and thats the issue, its in the dim and distant past.IMO Werner wont recapture that in any way,if Plymouth had 6ish points to play with, there mustve been more attractive riders out there.
I hope for Plymouths sake Werner proves to be an inspired signing, but I have my doubts.
IMO this is the signing of this close season, and for all the wrong reasons.I thought Plymouth mightve learned from the Seemond Stephens experience last year, but it appears not.
If the Rye House crowds do hover around the 3-400 mark then Silver cant pay high wages, not unless he fancies running at a huge loss,or he finds a big enough sponsor to make up the shortfall.
Can I just say a huge thank you to everyone,in particular Racer & Royals, who have put the links on here each and every sunday so we all can enjoy watching the speedway from Poland.
Thank You.
Utter rubbish,Italy have a GP,how many Italian riders are in the GP series,Croatia has a GP,how many Croatian riders are in the GP,Czech Republic has a GP,how many Czech riders are in the GP.
Where the host nation is weak theres always the wild card and right now thats the best any GB rider can hope for.
