  1. Your right that its up to Lanham, but its also true that Ipswich may be only able to sign as an injury replacement, thats if they intend to get Poole and or Risager back into their team.
  2. Think your right, but things have changed now. With Chris Neath sadly likely to be out all season Rye can offer Lanham a full seasons racing.
  3. After what allegedly happened at his Rye House P&P last year, you cant blame him really.
  4. How crap mustve been Boxall in the Plymouth P&P.
  5. You dont think that Rye House might not be interested in signing Lanham, and they have him right now.Funny how speedway works isnt it,couple of weeks ago Lanham was on the outside looking in,now he`s a man in demand.
  6. Dont see the problem,Plymouth lost out on Ashworth and gained Fisher,no bad thing IMO.Certainly makes Plymouth a better team.
  7. Speedway very rarely works out like that though.
  8. There isnt a better top two in the PL for this season, and as has been already mentioned its great to see Fisher back in the PL,where he can be a top performer. Dont see the gripe from some Plymouth fans, you lost out on Ashworth and gained Ryan Fisher, not a bad trade IMO.
  9. I knew there was humour in this thread somewhere....and bingo here it is.
  10. No not really,Ashworth has always done well at Berwick and the incident with Makovsky is long gone, and anyway Makovsky has no conections to Berwick anymore.
  11. Hart may be young, have potential, and be British, but there will be no reduction. That rule doesnt apply anymore.
  12. I thought Brent Werner was retired so his signing is a real gamble and IMO will be seen to fail, there are far more attractive options on that average that would do at least as well if not better than Werner.
  13. Have I missed something, thought Werner was a done deal.
  14. May well have done,Sitera seems to have struggled in the EL,so a move to a PL team might just do the trick.I remember seeing him doing a couple of Open meetings before he raced over here full-time,looked very impressive. The only problem in him coming to Berwick would be Continental meetings at the week-end.
  15. Would fit in at Berwick. Good signing for Plymouth in Ashworth.IMO Plymouth have as good a top two as there is in the PL,but they need back-up,and so far I dont see it.
  16. Its a queer one right enough,Werner was a decent PL in the past, and thats the issue, its in the dim and distant past.IMO Werner wont recapture that in any way,if Plymouth had 6ish points to play with, there mustve been more attractive riders out there. I hope for Plymouths sake Werner proves to be an inspired signing, but I have my doubts.
  17. IMO this is the signing of this close season, and for all the wrong reasons.I thought Plymouth mightve learned from the Seemond Stephens experience last year, but it appears not.
  18. If the Rye House crowds do hover around the 3-400 mark then Silver cant pay high wages, not unless he fancies running at a huge loss,or he finds a big enough sponsor to make up the shortfall.
  19. At the rate the riders are dropping out, young Scott Nicholls will be back in .
  20. Was there anyone else taking part,or am I stone dead last.
