  1. Re-staging for this meeting will be tomorrow, hopefully the Berwick Council will have given the go ahead. To be honest it looks like Berwick will do everything they can to get this meeting on tonight. The corners have been under cover with the straights left bare, whether practice goes ahead as planned at 11-30 this morning might be doubtful,as it has drizzled most of the night. Right now its dull, misty and damp, there is very light drizzle falling. Absolutely, though some of us can panic the sheepies more than others.
  2. No doubt about that, the promotion are doing all they can to get this meeting on,I hope their hard work will be rewarded. Welcome to Berwick. Sadly the forecast for tomorrow is none to clever, the rain we have had all day today will continue through the night.Tomorrow morning will be dull with rain, heavy at times, tomorrow afternoon will be dull with the rain not quite as heavy. The track has been covered which might just save the day,but it would be a gamble to start a meeting where theres no guarantee that it would finish, especially when your asking fans to pay extra.
  3. The forecast for Berwick is decent, mostly cloudy all week but there is no significant rain fall forecast.Dont see anything weatherwise that will affect this saturdays meeting.
  4. Fantastic meeting, with Leszno snatching a draw when they looked like they would be beaten, great ride from Balinski in Ht14,though after his interview he may not be getting an invitation to Darcy Wards Christmas party.
  5. With Danny King moving into the meeting proper,Berwicks Ricky Ashworth now becomes 2nd reserve.
  6. Being reported on Facebook that Jarek Hampel has broken his leg and will require an operation. If thats the case, and if thats the end of his GPs for this year, that secures one of the wilcard picks for next year.
  7. Sounds as though his mechanic gave him a kick up the backside, and from what Crump said its what he needed to hear. Great night for Chris Harris, hopefully this can now get him to be more consistant in future GPs,if he`s to qualify for next year he will need to be.
  8. Last nights GP had everything, the racing for the most part was decent and of course we had that bit of controversey, excellent stuff. Nicki Pedersen isnt my favourite but you cant deny that he is excellent for the GP series and speedway. He is riding better now than the last season or two,and has every chance of being World Champ.
  9. Hopefully he will do us all a favour and land one on Ermolenko.
  10. Wrong decision for me,Pedersen shouldve gone IMO,but with this referee anythings possible I suppose.
  11. Still very early but it looks like Peter Ljung could be a darkhorse tonight. Agreed, doesnt seem to have anything coming to him,and Im sure he`ll be welcome in Leszno.
  12. Chris Holder becomes the newest member of the Nicki Pedersen fan club, great stuff.
  13. From the pictures it looks like Hampels right leg took the full force, lets hope his injuries dont turn out as bad as they look. Dont be stupid, its racing, happens so many times unfortunately.
  14. Nicki Pedersen Michael Jepsen Jenson Chris Holder Antonio Lindback
  15. We`ve only just got this meeting into the correct country, thats probably as good as it gets.
  16. No Tai Woffinden,so Id guess as first reserve that Danny King will be promoted into the meeting.
  17. The other qualifiers do look stronger, but thats has to be good news for the likes of Chris Harris, who needs all the help he can get to maintain him as a GP rider. How does a sheep look worried.
  18. Adults £18 Concessions £12 Kids 11-16yrs £5 Under 11s free Programme £4 The full riding order is on the Berwick site,Tai Woffinden is still in the starting line up.
