Being reported on Facebook that Jarek Hampel has broken his leg and will require an operation. If thats the case, and if thats the end of his GPs for this year, that secures one of the wilcard picks for next year.
Sounds as though his mechanic gave him a kick up the backside, and from what Crump said its what he needed to hear.
Great night for Chris Harris, hopefully this can now get him to be more consistant in future GPs,if he`s to qualify for next year he will need to be.
Last nights GP had everything, the racing for the most part was decent and of course we had that bit of controversey, excellent stuff.
Nicki Pedersen isnt my favourite but you cant deny that he is excellent for the GP series and speedway. He is riding better now than the last season or two,and has every chance of being World Champ.
Still very early but it looks like Peter Ljung could be a darkhorse tonight.
Agreed, doesnt seem to have anything coming to him,and Im sure he`ll be welcome in Leszno.
From the pictures it looks like Hampels right leg took the full force, lets hope his injuries dont turn out as bad as they look.
Dont be stupid, its racing, happens so many times unfortunately.
The other qualifiers do look stronger, but thats has to be good news for the likes of Chris Harris, who needs all the help he can get to maintain him as a GP rider.
How does a sheep look worried.

The full riding order is on the Berwick site,Tai Woffinden is still in the starting line up.
As Ipswich have re-declared their 1-7,surely if and when Poole becomes ready to race,it will be for another club,or will it be up to the managements discrection.
And with no short term fix on the horizon it might get worse before it gets better,Morris & Vatcher are on the right lines hopefully with the younger riders, but the fruits of their labour could be years away yet.
