  3. Announcement from Berwick after this season league racing was cancelled. Those of us who bought season tickets have the option of carrying this seasons ticket to next, and will gain entry free of charge should any meetings be held at Shielfield this year. https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/club-statement/

  5. As a floating fan you can travel with relative confidence at this time of the year, bit of a different story should the season get into October/November.

  7. I doubt very much the BSPA would have the kind of money needed to subsidise any club who are running at a loss. Should racing be given the go ahead you can bet there will be clubs up and down the Country doing there sums, some may give it a go, some others will go down the Glasgow route and with draw their season to a close deciding to start afresh for next year. There are clubs, Peterborough, Belle Vue, Berwick etc who can cope with several hundred in their stadium and still practice social distancing but there are others Edinburgh, Wolves, Newcastle etc who may not.
  8. Should league racing be giving the go ahead is there really the appetite from the paying customers to get enough back through the gates to make speedway viable, giving the circumstances we have lived under over the last few months I`m not sure there is. If that is true would clubs would be running meetings at a loss which they have done in the past of course.

  10. Looks like Kent will need a team change should this season ever start as it appear Nico Covatti has decided to sit out racing over here.
  11. Berwick`s Leon Flint will replace the injured Dan Bewley as Britiain`s representative in the FIM European Under-21 Qualifier at Divisov Czech Republic on August 1st.
  12. No, if you dont have Sky try one of the links that racer & royals has provided
  13. Turns out it wasnt a practice crash, it was a fall off his BMX bike that caused the injury. He only just got it back after he reported it as stolen a week or so a go.
  14. Correct, that`ll be the bike he reported as stolen recently, might be regretting it being recovered now
  15. Tough luck on Dan Bewley who suffered a broken shoulder blade in a practice crash at Wroclaw.
  16. Hearing that Dan Bewley has suffered a broken shoulder blade in a practice crash in Wroclaw.
  17. Berwick have held a behind closed doors practice for some of their riders a few weeks ago, they were due to have another last Saturday but that was rained off. As far as I know both Scunthorpe and Leicester are open for hire, within restrictions of course.
  18. Very probably yes, though with the winner of the European Championships getting one place there could be one change there. What would happen if say Leon Madsen win the Europeans, would second place in that competition get a GP place.
  19. Indeed they will but it would be nice for the rest of us to have a chance to.
  20. Clearly a falling out between club and rider, given the current form of Millik you wonder if the club wouldn't have a bit of a re-think.
  21. Looking at pictures from Wroclaw I would enjoy this meeting as its raining there just now.
  22. Looks like Adam Ellis has suffered a fractured wrist after coming off his bicycle.
