  1. We will soon find out what foreign riders will or will not be competing in Poland as they must be in Poland by May 8th to start their two week isolation period.

  3. How far do you want to go back, here`s Cradley Heath v Birmingham from 1980.
  4. Looks like Nicki Pedersen could be giving racing in Poland a miss this season.
  5. The FIM Longtrack World Championship Qualifying Round due to take place on August 23rd at Scheessel has been cancelled.
  6. You cant blame the ExtraLeague for wanting to look after its own competition.
  7. For those of you wanting to see a bit of SoN speedway, the opening round of he 2018 competition from Germany is on BT Sport 2 now, with the second round from Belle Vue on at 6-30pm.
  8. This is only the second season I have invested in a season ticket, last year the value was excellent which went along way to tempting me buy again for this season. Obviously the current situation is beyond the control of any promotion, in my case Berwick, but I will certainly be keeping an eye on what is offered on my season ticket which will have a control on my decision over a season ticket for 2021.
  9. I hope so, and I hope there will be a full stadium to see it. Obviously it must be safe for everyone but I must admit I look forward to my trip to Prague each and every year.
  10. In a word no, but I think that decision will be made for a currently there are no flights into Prague with the prospect of none for the foreseeable future as the Czech borders remain closed and are likely to be so for some time. On a broader point I see little point in having a SGP series of any kind.
  11. Giving how it descended yesterday into a childish slanging match its hardly surprising.
  12. If guilty he will be isolated for quite some time
  13. Edinburgh`s tribute https://www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/news-centre/article/2020-04-20/rip-blair-scott?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  14. It would appear so yes, just one race Blair couldn't win.
  15. Condolences to all at Edinburgh Speedway on the passing of former rider Blair Scott.
  16. Sad to report the passing of former Edinburgh rider Blair Scott. Blair had his battles with his personal demons which he succumbed to yesterday. RIP Blair
  17. With the current situation its up in the air just what kind of SGP season we will see, if any at all, so those of us with tickets need to wait and see. For my situation I have flights, tickets and hotel booked for Prague, I fear there is little or no chance of being there. I would hope those of us in that situation for any SGP will be able to get a refund if we cant make the GP we have tickets for, though with BSI`s contract running out will they be all that bothered about us fans.
  18. Now the qualifiers have been cancelled I think the GP Challenge should be to, and the longer these lock down restrictions apply I am coming round to the opinion the SGP series should be cancelled to. Clean start for 2021.
  19. Very poor from BSI, there are bound to be people who either cant or dont want to go to the re-arranged date. BSI need to understand that people bought their tickets in good faith about seeing a meeting. Had the meeting been called off due to the weather I suppose they have an argument but not under these circumstances, as I say very poor IMO. Maybe if their contact wasn't coming to an end they would care a bit more.
  20. Seems one or two aren`t so happy with the re-arranged dates of the SoN https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/878370/zuzel-fim-do-spolki-z-bsi-pokazaly-ze-liczy-sie-tylko-wlasny-interes-polska-liga
  21. Enjoyed the documentary, as with most things Glasgow its a very professional production. Well done to all concerned.
