As Matt Ford states he is in constant discussion over the longer term future of Poole Pirates with Clark Osborne and the Council, the latter wanting Poole Speedway (as the 2nd largest supported club in the area after AFCB) to remain in the Town. Alternative sites are being looked at for the longer term while Pirates remain at the stadium on an ongoing year-to-year rental basis. The council will do what makes them most money and that will be building houses on a prime bit of land.
