Sad that people like Clarke Osborne are allowed to walk on this earth. That’ll be no hope then, as they haven’t “stuck to any guns” since the beginning of this whole sorry saga. Agree about Osborne though.

Agree about Osborne though. Clarke Osborne is a parasite. Although Torquay Utd fans would probably call him far worse,

As Matt Ford states he is in constant discussion over the longer term future of Poole Pirates with Clark Osborne and the Council, the latter wanting Poole Speedway (as the 2nd largest supported club in the area after AFCB) to remain in the Town. Alternative sites are being looked at for the longer term while Pirates remain at the stadium on an ongoing year-to-year rental basis. Thou this is different with the council owning the stadium we have heard all the other stuff before. The council will do what makes them most money and that will be building houses on a prime bit of land. As we seen altrenative sites are like rocking horse poo

Can’t see it materialising Agree but someone needs to call these idiots out and ask how they can continue to target speedway tracks when I suspect not one has ever been to a meeting or knows anything about the sport. Heads up arses and nothing of any substance but no doubt enough readies to pass a few brown envelopes to local decision makers who bow to the biggest cheque book. No different to any other housing developer, liars, cheats and corrupt businessmen who claim to have the interest of the local community but are only worried about the bottom line. No such thing as affordable housing, it is smoke screen and mirrors or to put it bluntly, most building firms talk utter bollocks to weak councillors who you would not piss on if they were on fire. Meanwhile any news on the proposed “new” speedway facility?
