There can't be another sport where those running/connected with teams are so obsessed with moaning about keyboard warriors and making unprofessional comments/statements. What do they think it's actually going to achieve? There's not one club who can afford to alienate their supporters, if just 1 person decides 'I've had enough' after reading them, how are you replacing that £300+?

If you can't handle a few critical comments then maybe either don't put yourself in that position or stay off social media. Whatever you do, it should be pretty simple to understand you don't start having a pop at your supporters because you need them.

Im of the opinion that MTs co promoter/ sponsor status is all down to the Holdergate rift issue with Buster , its sounding like hes taken a backstep from what was expected/agreed to happen at the time and now the relationship has broken down to the extent that he has withdrawn any further cash input , hes said on SM hes put money in but it points now towards him not being prepared to put any more money in with how the situation is .

If the rumour of him and Ged teaming up is true then this most likely has been formed to buy out Buster  only if the situation of the clubs future improves .

Maybe even John Clarke would get involved as  Crendons owner also . But this is just my opinion and nothing else.

Well the Ged Rathbone and MT double act rumours aren't going away.

The biggest problem anyone has is getting the funding for the new track and that's where the planning document must be adhered too.

Nobody is buying any club with closure hanging over its head

That was MT's first mistake, Telling fans he was going to buy the club and re locate it.

Lets hope between them they can keep the Panthers going, if the rumour turns out to be true.

I think 're-locate it' meant into the Championship!!:t:

With MT taking in the sunshine on the beach, he's probably in Bournemouth/Poole to get some advice!;);)

Another one from Carl Johnson and quite possibly the worst comment yet:

“It’s simple, instead of slagging clubs off get down and help them survive….but I forgot your £22 a week runs a club. I’m sure you have put all your efforts into helping your local tracks survive over the years.”

What a way to speak to your paying supporters. Basically saying even our £22 isn’t good enough! What are these clowns on?

Unfortunately many of those involved within the "echo chamber" of UK Speedway are well meaning amateurs, who are miles out of their depth skill set wise for the roles they take on..

And as there often isn't a "Gold Standard" operationally to benchmark yourself, and aspire to be, the general malaise continues..

"We are doing our best" really isn't an answer when things go wrong. In fact, it questions your capability even further, as, if "doing my best" has put me in the predicament I find myself in then I am probably not the person to solve the issue, and should either step aside and let someone have a go, or go and seek help from those better qualified than me, (with the correct skill set ),  to support me in sorting the problem out..

I cannot take UK Speedway seriously from a team angle, but I know some still do, so I would imagine that if "my team" hadn't won for nearly a year then I would be just a tad peed off and expect something a bit better from those running it, and competing for it..

I certainly wouldnt be too pleased though to be told that paying my money doesnt entitle me to complain..

They must have too many fans so want to lose a few hundred by alienating them I presume..

And, to be fair, the sport as a whole has done a great job of that over the past 2 decades or so..

Goodness me, this is embarrassing from the Peterborough management.

Every fan wants to hear their management team interact with fans but there rules, those rules are, no matter how angry fans are don't belittle & down play their importance under any circumstances.

As I've always said, a clubs closure is NEVER the fault of it's supporters. The blame is 100% owners.

I think you will find Daniel that in UK Speedways "echo chamber" it really will never, ever be their fault..

And they will also have plenty of "hangers on" to agree with them, which then allows them to feel that they are "doing something right", so they carry on with the same failing plan..

Those "hangers on" see at close quarter "how hard they work", so feel no criticism is allowed due to this...

"Working Hard" and "Working Successfully" are though two seperate things..

Do tell more ? Where have you heard this ?

Some fans have been commenting on the Panthers facebook page about hearing a rumour that Monday is the last meeting.

Likely to just be a rumour though.

It can't be true surely. If it was the last meeting then what would be the point in holding this meeting. It would be like saying We are closing down but we will just have one more meeting for the hell of it. Also I guess the speedway authorities would know about it, Kings Lynn would definitely know about it (same owner) so why would they run a meeting when everyone would know that the results will be expunged
