With 2 articles on Anders Rowe - thought I had early signs of dementia after reading first article and the a few days later realising their were 2 articles. Nothing wrong with the West Ham memories, but to include details of Australia test match in same issue? Might be good reads, but for which age group? How can British Speedway Improve- Well lets deliver a magazine that entices a new generation to buy it as something is in it that is actually relevant to the new youth generation. Simple If you don’t like the SS don’t buy.For certain there is nobody else going to produce and deliver a new Speedway Magazine for the so called new youth generation the numbers are just not there for it.
Petecc
If your biggest complaint is that the barcode doesn't work in asda, the magazine must be fantastic?
ChesterfieldTiger
Is it worth subscribing to the magazine and getting it delivered? I've seen some comments about it not arriving until early the next week, in which case it would probably be better spending the extra 90p or so and going out to get it. mikebv
Just got this weeks copy... Some great interviews with Ben Barker, Charles Wright and Armando Castagna... Ben suggesting we need one league with fewer riders per team so more rides per rider next season... Inside info? Woffy too has an indepth interview about his crash and convalescence... A consistently excellent publication which shines the sport in a professionally good light... Edited July 3 by mikebv

For what it’s worth, I think we need one big league, which at the moment looks like it will be 14 teams. Should be five riders per team like Denmark. And there should be rider grading.

All riders with over a 4pt average only... If enough teams want to run a seven rider second team, alongside some stand alone clubs who feel that level is their organic level, then run an NDL league.. If not, then each team should have a 3 man second team, like the SJL used to be like, and run a nine heat second half at NDL level..

It could do yes- all depends on what is on page 33 ( i’m a poor pensioner and don’t subscribe any longer). But guessing i would say page 33 is the highlight of this week’s offering lol
