Agree Edward’s firmly on an upward trend but can’t agree he’s progressed more than Dan t or rowe. dan t went from 4.86 to 7.55 last season in the champ

Since 2021 Dan has gone from 5.05 to 7.55. A lot of people were describing Dan as 'going nowhere, progress stalled etc' a year ago (which is one of thre reasons I think people should stop slagging Flint off). Dan got back on track this season, but Edwards has never been 'off track' hence he's improved by more than Thompson.

Comparing Edwards to Rowe & Dan T is kinda irrelevant in this instance as the discussion was based on who would end up the strongest "rising star". It's now turned into a "who has improved the most" discussion, but it didn't start out like that lol! In my humble opinion Anders Rowe out of three is by far the strongest rising star and has the highest ceiling

I’d say that’s even greater progression. What they seem to be ignoring is Dan Thompson this year spent most of this season in the main body of the side, (rising star I might add), Rowe sat in his comfy number 7 berth all year bar the last meeting or two at the end of the season. 0.72 between them. Thompson is also two years younger than Rowe so I’m not sure about the “highest ceiling” either or what that’s based on. Nobody can predict who has a higher ceiling, some riders progress some don’t so it’s all guesswork. The current stats though are there for all to see. Daniel Smith
Anders is a million miles ahead of Thompson. Why are they even being compared in the first place as they're at different stages of their careers. British Speedway (Premiership or Championship) is not the yard stick. The fact Rowe is learning in Poland's U24E is far more progressive than anything served up here. In 2 years Thompson could be better, but right now, not a chance. 1

It’s where they can both be compared fairly because both ride in the same league. Rowe quite clearly isn’t “a million miles ahead of Thompson” in any way shape or form.

Thompson was only in the main body because Rew sat on an average of 4.00 for most of the season! Rowe had to get his average over 5.00 before he moved out of reserve... Bit of a difference

He also retained his place for 3 months before Rew overtook him. both Dan and Anders are great prospects and both will have great careers but imo Dan shades Anders atm.

Daniel Smith
Think there's still some serious bitterness from Ipswich fans that Rowe turned them down in 2023 & went to King's Lynn Oh well 🤪😂
