Always used to, seems to have been discouraged last couple of seasons since Morris came in and made a song and dance about meetings running smoothly/quickly blah blah cos you know stuff like that ie crowd engagement is what annoys punters about the meetings dragging on! š -
I think as soon as next year unlikely but Iād love to see a Grand Prix on a tight technical track like Foxhall! Doyley would show a few throttle jockeys a thing or two for sure!!
-
He did say in the off season heād intended to be back at Ipswich this season but with Louis selling up and the uncertainty couldnāt wait around for uk and got fixed up elsewhere

Disappointing, no hard feelings to Doyle but if there was the smallest inkling he was wanting back to the uk Iād have moved heaven and earth to get him back to Foxhall
-
Somewhere in between, the 1 is a bit of an anomaly with an engine failure and exclusion although he was out of it already when his engine went pop. typically around Foxhall he wonāt fancy it first ride when the tracks really grippy and will make a couple of starts later on and get beaten in heat 13 0, 2, 3, 0 more typical
-
He rode for us a boat load of meetings a couple of years back guesting for Doyle long term, he knows Foxhall in its current guise
-
No defence of labour at all but ipswich town centre has been in serious decline and is just like you describe long before they were in charge. Sad really nothing like it used to be.
-
If there was surety earlier in the winter heād have been here this season, I think heāll be back next year, maybe even sooner š
-
12 points makes the bonus point interesting, but would be more interesting if the tac sub hadnāt interfered! Especially if at some point youāre 6 behind at Foxhall and get a second one! Takes the biscuit 2 extra rides for either Brady or Dan over the aggregate!
-
Wish theyād scrap the tactical sub rule, or at least make it only available for a shorter window for an away side to even up the home track advantage. tac sub or no tac sub belle vue wouldāve made that home advantage come true Iām sure over the course of the meeting but the tac sub undoes so much of the hard work from unfancied underdog witches last night and impacts the chances of the bonus point over two legs massively

Did you watch it? I stood on the second bend with my dad and uncle and enjoyed it. If theyād have heavily watered the track and one of the isolated heavy showers I drove through en route half an hour before the meeting started had landed putting the meeting off with already 1000+ in the stadium that wouldāve been a far bigger disaster on opening night than a bit of dust -
Yes Ben, sorry didnāt think about there being more t than one š¤Ŗ

Tac sub 5-1 meant the scoreline flattered lynn imo, long long tail. Decent first home performance throughout the team, Scotty will fair better when the track is grippier and he can work the bike and find different lines. Understand the comments on the track getting slick and dusty quite quickly tonight but I donāt think thereās much more they can do with such a strong drying wind as this evening, it was well watered before the meeting and watered at each grading break, while dry and dusty towards the end it was consistent and smooth which is good to see. -

On his first visit to Foxhall I was impressed with gusts on track, donāt remember what he scored but got better every time he came out and had a real go, didnāt push on like I thought he would but morale looked pretty low in the Oxford pits last year, tough environment for a foreign youngster to come into and the pressure be straight on you -

I think both Sheffield and Leicester have sides that can be dangerous around Foxhall but if they ride to their ability should be able to beat everyone at home and the long tails of belle vue and lynn will be their undoing on the road and as you say Foxhall a particularly tough away track. Hard to say with Northampton but they look the weakest and shouldnāt be troubling us at foxhall -
